Wishing you and yours (including the Twonk
) a very happy Christmas and may 2016 be your best year yet :xmassign::xmastree::snow_grin
:rotfl: Hes been called a bit more that a twonk these last few days :rotfl:
He just walked (yes walked) to the shops to get Goose fat that I forgot derrrr He will need knee pads soon if he crawls around me any more.
I am very proud about not using CCs though. It just goes to show that with budgeting and being sensible you can really manage without getting into further debt
I will make sure that my overall debt target will come down loads in 2016. Ive never been more determined.
Thank you for your support and encouragement Bear. Its much appreciated :A
:xmassign: Have a lovely day tomorrow and all the very best to you and your family in 2016 :xmassign:

:xmassmile Wow Where did Christmas day go?
Has gone very quickly in this house.
Anyway, actually ended up having a nice day. Was woken up this morning with a nice cup of tea :coffee: From OH aswell.
Dinner went very well and of course I ate too much _pale_
No one even wanted dessert (less washing up)
Nothing really exciting on TV so I'm off to have a well deserved soak in the bath
Hope everyone has had a lovely day

Boxing day comes to a close and I am literally vegging out on the settee (again)
with crackers and humous dip
. Its lethal sitting with the whole pot though :rotfl:
DD and DS both at work today so just me and OH all day. A pretty quiet day it was too.except for the Football on TV
Still, I got to read a few more diaries
OH has not had a drink for days and wow what a difference. He even admitted it himself saying he actually feels better. This surely emphasises the fact that he is addicted to alcohol mentally not physically. Thats how I feel anyway.
He is still keeping his appointment with the support centre next week though. They apparently deal with a whole range of issues. We will see.
Anyway I am looking forward to next week and into 2016 as I cannot wait to get stuck in with my DF journey.
The more I read on here the more it proves to me how well people have done and the amount of debt being repaid.:T
I have joined challenges and am keeping up with it all (pat on the back for me) My sealed pot is getting heavy now. I just put the odd £1 coin in and its growing :T I even got 2 gold stars from Sue-UU (the lady that runs it) for doing so well
Should really get myself back to doing housework etc tomorrow  Need my routine back
Hope everyone is well

Hello, happy Boxing Day :santa2::rudolf:
I think you deserve more than a pat on the back.
To add to your stars from Sue
Good to hear OH is better without drinking. Hope the meeting is helpful for him (and you).
All good here. Off to the In-laws :rotfl:tomorrow so I'll catch up with you when I'm home.
Enjoy the rest of the crackers and hummus0 -

Well I never got much housework done today  Pretty much been lazy again.. I find it very hard when OH is here, sat in front of the TV asking for cups of tea all day :rotfl: Anyway at least its not beer, that's a bonus in itself.
Mind you I did keep/steal/conveniently forget about his £5 change from the corner shop this morning. Somehow it ended up in my sealed pot that I'm saving for next Christmas. I dont know how that happened
I did pop to the shops for fish food and treated myself to a new pair of slippers 99p in the sale :T Come on surely I am allowed some luxuries
I plan to get up nice and early tomorrow as OH has work for a few hours. I will be able to get on with what I need to do then.
My last CC statement still hasn't arrived for Dec yet. Must be because of the holidays. Anyway I am ready for it so bring it on.
I love doing my snowball payments (the concept of it,not the amounts)
Hope you all are well and have something nice planned for New Years Eve.
I just like standing with my street door and my back door open at midnight. I let it blow right through and blow the old year out and the new year in. Hope its a super debt busting one for me :T

:j Yay last payment of the month to CCs done. This snowball malarkey is working out just fine for me. I have never been so organised.
Have started a challenge to see if I can reduce my overall debt target by £9000 by this time next year
( a big challenge) but I think I can do it.
I am actually in front of my snowball calculator at the moment. Just by making small, cheeky payments to CCs.
If I had been this money savvy in the beginning I wouldn't be where I am today. But hey ho it is what it is and so onwards and upwards.
I just checked and I am £36.75 in front of my snowball. Every little helps eh
