Afternoon World
I have decided I am giving myself the afternoon off :T
Was up early and have already made a shepherds pie and veg for dinner. Couldn't face doing a roast today as its Christmas dinner Friday in case anyone wasn't aware
All presents wrapped and are now under the tree. :xmastree:
Washing and ironing done for the day and am about to sit on the settee all afternoon. :T
Gives me time to find some more inspiration on here and learn lots more tips.
Hopefully I will find a nice Christmassy film to watch.

Well done on winning the lottery
Enjoy your afternoon off0 -
Sounds a good day at yours. We managed to be at the shops by 10.30 to do food shopping and we paid and left by 11 when the tills opened. I did see some people with full trollies but it seems more people were like us with small normal looking amounts." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Morning world
Having an absolute rubbish time at the moment
OH has caused no end of problems here at the moment. Causing unnecessary arguments with anyone in the house. He likes a drink and has recently been to ask for help (pressure from me) he has an appointment next week.
However I feel that this is not the issue. He hasn't had a drink for days. I'm starting to think he has some sort of mental health issue.
He has said some hurtful things for no reason and now everyone in the house is miserable. On top of Xmas as well.
I was doing so well with all of the financial things and now I feel like I dont want to bother
Im sorry for the miserable self pity post but I am just fed up at the moment.

Sorry you're having a rubbish time
Don't know what to suggest that might help. Does he know how miserable he's making everyone? Does he think he's got a "problem"? I hope next weeks appointment will help.0 -
Thank you upside down, and thank you for the hug
He has said only once before that he thinks he has a slight problem lol its either a problem or its not
Anyway he knows full well how miserable everyone is because of his actions but I'm not sure hes even bothered,
I have asked him to leave today but he refuses. I have been so upbeat and I'm darned if I will let him bring me down again.
If I have to tackle my DF journey alone then so be it.
Thanks again

A "slight" problem? Sounds like he's causing major problems for everyone else
It is easier said than done but I'm glad you're not letting him bring you down:kisses3:
And please call me Bear - everyone else does :dance:0 -
I was posting to say how impressed I am that all the presents are wrapped! You sounded really organised and I so admire that!
I am so sorry your OH is being so unreasonable. I hope he does leave! at least for a bit. Sorry if that sounds harsh but you have worked so hard to do all your list and sounded really happy!

Thank you Buffy and I agree about him leaving. Fat chance though. Hes been skulking around now for 2 days and I know hes thinking 'oh poo Ive done it now'
I refuse to let him get the better of me and still manage to add a little to my EF
He can go to his appointment next week and hopefully he will talk it out with them and realise what he is doing.
I will not put up with a child in a man's body
