To be honest Bob our car is only really used for social ,shopping, visiting etc. OH drives a lorry at work and I dont use it for work either so its not a priority.

Well hello weekend :T
Have started on my snowball monthly's again First statement arrived and paid. This is my target one so paid lots over the minimum payment required :j This has brought my overall target down again
Waiting for the others to drop in around a weeks time.
Was invited to the works Christmas do tonight. "Thankyou kindly but I have other plans"
The truth is I refused to pay the £25 cab fare there and back plus pay for drinks all evening.
(secretly proud of myself)
Anyway have a different one to go to tomorrow and its FREE :T
A work colleague is kindly having a few people round her house for a gathering. Within walking distance and already have my drink stashed in the cupboard from God knows when
Outfit found in wardrobe that hasn't seen the light of day for ages. Colleagues have never seen either so that's a bonus.
Now that's my kind of night out :rotfl:
Shopping done on line again and within budget
Weekly budget done and up to date
Hope this organisation continues

Well my free night out was a lot of fun. Plenty of catching up/gossiping with colleagues
It actually made a nice change and even better that it cost me nothing, zilch, zero, :j
Anyway I have now made payments to 2 CC statements so far this month. Only 2 remaining for December. They are due in the next week or so. Then on to the new year where I plan to kick some a**e (debt wise I mean)
My target CC is coming down and will be paid up by June, fingers crossed.
Christmas is sorted bar a little food shopping. :T
I am so surprised and proud of myself that I haven't touched my CCs this Christmas. Usually I would have hammered them and then thought
This is all down to the lovely support and tips I have had on this site.
New year is usually a miserable time for me but for some reason I am looking forward to it. A new year, new start and a 12 MONTH CHALLENGE ahead to see just how much damage I can do to my debt total.
I am planning on getting it to £20,000 or below
Mega challenge there then.
I hope I am not being too optimistic
Wish me luck and good luck all

I have just checked my snowball and according to that I should be at £21,500 by this time next year.
I am hoping to have it a little lower as I am already in front a little with my 1st target CC

Hi Diary
Still waiting for CC statement 3 to arrive. Hoping for within the next 3 days so I can hit another one :T
Just had a quick peek at my Noddle account and its gone from poor to fair. I think this is because I am bringing my balances down and not using my Credit cards.
Not that its really relevant because I do not intend to use them its just nice to see its improved. I dont have any CCJs or defaults I think my score is based on me having too much CC debt
However, the debt busting continues and I love seeing my balances coming down :j
Fingers crossed I will be down to 3 CCs by summer (sooner if my plan works out) and then keep chipping away.
Need to get back on track with the meal planning and start batch cooking. Getting home from work and having to cook a meal from scratch is painful. I do try to prepare in the morning but sometimes peeling potatoes at 6 in the morning is a missionSP 9#531=£620/SP 10 # 531=?PDBX 2016 #2 = £16,766.67/£12,000

Hiya
I know some people say the credit score isn't important but it does make you feel good seeing the figure change doesn't it. Glad you are feeling positive about everything.

Sometimes I have to try to stop myself running before I can walk.
I keep reminding myself that small steps will eventually get me there.
It really does help to see the totals coming down rather than up. It shows me that I am making progress slowly but surely. :T
Sticking around on here is helping so much
