I agree where did it go? I always find that at 4pm I'm still feeling in weekend mode but suddenly it's 7pm and I've got to rush to get son to bed and dinner finished etc etc. Funny how time is such a fluid concept.
You sound like you've had a very good days cooking and planning. I have also got a little roast pork left to stretch into tommorow evening meal and have a few store cupboard staples topped up for mid week grab it meals.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your evening.

Hi Bob
Hopefully my work day will go as quick tomorrow.
At least all I have to do is pop the shepherds pie in the oven when I get home. Easy Peasy
Your debt busting is going so well. Mine seems like a mountain at the moment but ONE DAY I WILL be on the home stretch too.

I totally agree. I will use the new year as a new start and really give it all I have and just see how much I can pay off in 2016.
I am quite looking forward to the challenge if I am honest.
Good luck on your last amount and well done on coming this far

:hello: Hi all
Monday and Tuesday have just flown by. Managed to get some more reading done on here though. I so love other peoples posts etc. Many make me chuckle. I can picture people and imagine what they are doing by what they write in their posts
Came home from work to a reminder that my MOT is due beginning of January  I plan to add as much over the total as I can to my EF so it hopefully will over any work that needs doing. I also want to pay for my car insurance at the end of February.
(wow I plan to do a lot with it dont I)
Its amazing that my EF stands at its target and yet I dont want to spend it :rotfl: Its what its for but I am too protective over it (how sad am I)
My mindset has changed so much since I woke up and smelt the coffee. I am now very careful with my pennies as opposed to before. I would have just thought "which card shall I put it on" Not any more. I so want to pay this debt off and reach my DFD :j especially as my debt stands in the twenties now and not the thirties. (even though its only a few pounds under)
My December CC statements are due within the next 2 weeks and I am itching to pay them when they arrive. My debt total will go DOWN again :TSP 9#531=£620/SP 10 # 531=?PDBX 2016 #2 = £16,766.67/£12,000

Don't forget to take your car for an MOT to a place that does not do repairs. Make sure your tyres and lights are legal and then let them at it. Once I stopped taking my car to a garage to have its MOT it has sailed through & saved me a fortune. My last car (got rid of it 2wks ago for the new one) all I ever needed for the MOT was new tyres (advisory only). It was almost 13 years old. The one before I landed up replacing stuff that I was sure had only been done a few months before - but of course I didn't keep records then - I'm sure I replaced the front suspension twice within a year on that one but couldn't prove it because I didn't keep the bill.
The MOT via a none repair garage is part of the MSE advice by the way.0 -
Thanks Bob and Thanks Pat
Bob, my EF is my little secret :shhh: I love knowing I have it too. I feel like I don't want to spend it though. Totally different mindset from before.
Patanne, my OH takes our car to our local garage (a friend) so we usually come out without too much damage.
However the car is now 10 years old and will need replacing soon. Need a plan for that one
My way of thinking has changed so much after my LBM and finding so much support on here.:):):)
My CC statements are due very soon and I am already waiting to get them paid for another month :j My totals will be going down again :T
The snowball has been a Godsend for me so far (long may it continue)
