Hi Bob
I hope so too.
I know hes feeling guilty now but he has to wake up and take responsibility.
But I will not allow him to bring us down. I gave myself a talking to and decided the kids and I will enjoy Christmas regardless
So I am going to run out in the morning and get a last couple of bits of food shopping that I need and then return home and finish my housework that I didn't get done today.
Thank you again and hope you all have a lovely Christmas

Sorry to hear OH is behaving like a twonk. Unfortunately it is the way some behave when caught 'cheating' their families. Cheating is not just the other woman as many would see it, but can be and also can be gambling or in his case drinking. They get upset/annoyed that they have finally been 'called' on their behaviour and decide that if they are going to suffer the indignity of having been caught making a mistake then they will make darn sure all those around them will suffer too. Sorry you are having to go through this. Do your best not to allow him to upset you, that is after all his aim.
So I am willing you to receive this (mental) suit of armour I am sending to defend you from all those little arrows that he will try to send your way.0 -
thank you Patanne. For your words of encouragement and especially my little suit of armour. :rotfl: I love it and it made me laugh this morning. I will wear it with pride. I imagine its like the picture of the teddy all dressed in armour that upsidedown bear sent the other day
You are so right about his behaviour too. He likes a gamble also.
He thinks a lot of his issues stem frm his childhood being the black sheep etc etc. But. I think its just a cop out if im honest. Hes been with me longer than he was with them.
Anyway I am still positive that the new year will see my debt total come down massively.
Have a good day all

Thank you Bear I love all the things you can do. I think I will need one of those hats that the guinea pig is wearing. My OH may be tempted to hit me on the head with something if I don't give him a break.
I cant stop being angry with him. Especially as he is feeling very sorry for himself at the moment
Anyway I went out early this morning and got my last couple of food bits that I needed. I walked to the shops, its such a mild day today. I wanted the fresh air and a nice stroll. Blew away a few cobwebs
Still waiting for my last CC statement of the month to arrive. Should be any day now. I will start January with a whole new 12 Month Challenge. :j

:xmastree: Hi all :xmastree:
Wow the wind is blowing a gale out there. Thank goodness I don't need to go out.
Things have quietened down here now. OH has his tail well and truly between his legs
I just wanted to give myself a pat on the back. I haven't used CCs at all this Christmas :j
:My name is 12 Month Challenge and I have an addiction......
I am officially addicted to MSE :beer:T
I dread to think what state my finances would be in if I hadn't had my long overdue LBM.
Its Christmas Eve and I have even still managed to do my weekly budget ie: paying my virgin bill (I pay this in weekly chunks so as to not have a big bill each month) and my TV licence etc Also made a one off £20 payment to my target CCEven managing to top up my EF a little
My TV licence is actually all paid up for next year alreadyThese people must be thinking I have been abducted by aliens or something and there is someone impersonating me :rotfl:
That is all thanks to the wonderful support and advice I have received on here. :A
My Turkey is in the oven, The dog's been walked. Just need to run the hoover round and prepare veg etc for tomorrow.
I hope everyone is in good spirits (not the alcohol type)
