Opinions on the new BMW 440i
Options
What do you all think of the new BMW 350i/440i? Contrary to what the name suggests, it isn't a 4 litre engine but instead a 3 litre twin turbo charged engine.
How does it compare to the competition?
Although not on the same power level, I'm quite a fan of the new Lexus IS250. It's shaped very well and I expect the soon to be released coupe/convertible a real looker!

Focus is better. Or the new Kia Optima. Maybe a Dacia Sandero.0

Neither of these vehicles seem to exist?0

Anyone seen the new Viva?
Front wheel drive one litre engine so should be good round town.
Fog lights come on when you go round the corner. A big improvement on the 70s car.0 -
Oh here we go... The person with the alleged "engineering masters" will soon tell us how "better engineered" it is than a Ford...0

As long as it's got rear brakes unlike his own car.darkmatter101 wrote: »I have been quoted £60 plus VAT for a much needed brake fluid change for my Yaris. I normally pay this much for larger cars with brakes on all four corners.
Correct me if I'm wrong but as the Yaris only has brakes up at the front, and not the rear, doesn't that mean that the time to bleed and refill the brake fluid should be half the time compared to a car with brakes on all four corners?
Or am I wrong and even on the Yaris 1.0 vvti it has brake fluid bleed valves on all four sides?
Therefore should I be quoted half the price, aka £30 plus VAT?0 -

He will also need that masters degree to realise the b58 engine going into the 440i only has 1 turbo0 -

I think common sense should tell you that the BMW 440i is indeed better engineered than a Focus or an Astra. You don't need an Engineer to explain that to you0 -

Here you go:

It's just a LCI. 440i replaces the 435i.
Also forged alloy wheels for higher strength and lower weight. Don't recall any Focus or Astra having forged alloy wheels0 -

Stick with the Yaris, much better0
