Something was wrong with your 530i if it felt less stable than a FWD Volvo. BMWs were designed for stability at high speeds on the autobahn.

Yeah it's rear wheel drive and the front end starts to follow any undulation in the carriageway. Once over 150 the slightest bump in the road or cross wind is an issue. You don't feel that with fwd, go try it and tell me I'm wrong.

Don't think I've ever heard of that issue with any other BMW driver. I've been as a passenger track day in a RWD C63 reaching speeds 150mph plus and never experienced that.

So you were a passenger in a Merc on a track day. What's that got to do with driving a BMW on a road?

Why? ChumLee claims how RWD cars have that issue at high speeds. A RWD car is a RWD car and now he wants to compare BMW vs Merc. So ChumLee what do you think of the Mercedes C Class? How does it compare to the Focus and Astra?
