Hiya everyone :hello:
Thank you Zippy and Coxy for running the thread again for us.
I have entered up most of the recipes but a slight glitch with the first two lists so I have left the links up until sorted. Hope you all enjoy trying something new (to you) this month.
I am in for usual £200 for September and good luck everyone with the challenge.

Hi hi!
This is my first ever GC, no idea how much I spend so going to guestimate and say £200 for the month.
It's just me in the household (plus 2 cats but they have a raw diet not bought from sm and have their own budget) and I have a habit of buying food and then not using it and wasting it. I need to stop doing that and also need to get my spend down.
Excited!!:jTrying to remain debt free!

Hi
Just new to the forums tonight and going to join in. We budget £100 for food every month which it seems like we manage it, but we don't! We have it in an envelope but we often use our debit cards for little treats so it seems like we've managed to control money... when in fact we haven't at all!
So going to start at £100Its just me, OH and the baby! She's still only on milk and all her costs are budgeted separately out of her child benefit money
So she doesn't count in this situation
Aiming for lots of no spend days, I'm terrible at just picking up something at the shop for a treat!0 -
Lyn theres an extra post to edit.xA little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Hi all, I would like to join in please.
This month has been slightly more than it is normally due to the school holidays and the children both just eating and eating and eating!! Their friends coming over for the day and occasionally staying the night, they have all eaten us out of house and home!
Budget for September is £320 for 2 adults, 2 children. I do have £400 but am hoping to make a start towards Christmas with the £80 I will hopefully save.
I plan to run the freezer down over the next week, lots of homemade soup, Bolognese, curry, to use up. And I am back to meal planning too.0 -

Me too LittleOne.
I'm going to go for £200 too! There's only me and I also buy food and end up wasting it. I really need to get a grip! I'm glad I'm not the only one :rotfl:
£200 for me please. This is from Saturday 29 August to Friday 25th September - (I'll be mortified if I go over:eek:)0
