I'm afraid, I cannot see the problem. That's about four transactions a day and it's only straight-forward addition and subtraction.i make about 30 transactions per week, of pounds and pence.you can not tell me you would know your balance down to the last penny off the top of your head, hence banks the bank account.
I might not know my bank balance to the last penny, but I do know it to the full pound. Same as My mother did. As a child, I once tried to steal a small sum out of her purse, thinking she would not notice. She did, she knew down to the last penny how much money there was.0 -
well done to you , and your mum, but i can only assume you have not always done a great job of it yourself, or why are you in this forom? i personally do not stand hand open by the door, when my hubby comes home from work for ,his work food reciepts or fags or petrol, neither does he with me,yes i could probably scale it down to £5 either way,as i do have a rough estimation of what we spend, but their are two using his current account by day and by night, only me using mine. the 30 odd transactions are between us over two accounts, for a family.the sheer fact that you have come to do it all yourself suggests the bank does not do an efficient job of keeping your current account, but you simply except the floors, and do their job for them.
thank god the man who started all this, had his own mind , and was not a sheep followimg the flock.0 -
Nope my dinner was lovely to say the least....but if you choose to read through my posts properly then you would have noticed that I was in fact being sarcastic to GD and not to Jo-ray.Bengal Stripe I Find Your Comments Towards Jo-ray Offensive And Rude, U Are Judging Others Mentality By Your Own,of Stupitity We Do Not Require An External Agent For Infant School Basic's Of Your 10 Apple Theory, What We Do Exspect Is That Our Problems Are Meet With Helping Solutions Hence Posting On This Site And Not Arrogant And Out And Out Rudeness By Peole Like Yourself. to be fair, it did kinda sound that way to me too, as you ageed with most of what he had said in principal , sort of sounded like you were suggesting i am a much less capable person than you, when talking about your apple sauce.0

Clap, Clap, I assume from your posting you have no concept of social or financial conditioning that can be applied to any individual..........no evidence of either empathy or the fact that each person has their own set of circumstances sometimes not chosen by themselves, but well done for buying your own shooping though...........my 20 year old can do that!!
Regards0 -
i would not be at all suprised if ,the ones blowing their own trumpets, had more charges to reclaim, than the ones who don't0

oops maybe i thanked you too soon,it is unclear whether you are talking about me or bengal stripe?
of course i know people have their own curcumstances ,but doing the sums is no long term solution to the problem, not an exceptable one anyway. why should we except what is given, and not demand what is rightfully ours.0 -
the shop has the discretion over what is instantly authorised or not, based on if it is over a certain value, which is unknown,it then is earmarked if authorised then, if not they wait for a sales voucher to come from the shop for the value of what you bought.the amount of time this takes is of course unknown. so....they are giving the shops discretion about what is authorised and us a sub-standard service. charming0
