And as for needing a carer then maybe you should try running my original past yours coz you are clearly on a different planet to me coz you didi'nt understand a word of it, i could repost it in wookie if you would find that easier? hmm gotta say tho.. if i use my card at a shop.. doesnt the card reader communicate with the bank to see if i have the funds in my account to pay for something. i mean surely it must do to some extent, because the bank can decline authorisation for the transaction to go through.....

( i could be very wrong here! )

all im saying is that if a card reader communicates with the bank instantly... surely when that transaction is processed there IS THE POSSIBILITY that a system could be easily put in place to mark an amount of money in your account as having been spent, and to reflect your balance accordingly? i mean that doesnt sound too far fetched right?


hmm n as for anyone saying a bank should take 5 - 7 days to clear a cheque thats because (apparently) they can have the cash sat in an intermediate account for that time and accrue interest on it. nice little money earner there so im told. Really.. if people actually stopped saying 'use a pen n paper... the bank cant do anything more than its doing' and actually protested against the fact this was happeneing (which is starting to happen), then perhaps they still wouldnt be doing this..

just like reclaiming your bank charges... they shouldnt be unfairly charging in the first place, but they will until enough people complain.

what are you shouting at me for - i didn't even type in caps. all i was doing was replying to a question based on my past experience on this site in different threads. in some threads when i've typed in caps they've come up in caps and in others it will just show the first letter of each word.
