The hypocrisy of the right wing never ceases to amaze me. Corbyn had a dialogue with Jerry Adams that was an important part of the Good Friday agreement. He therefore is now Stalin incarnate.
The UK government invades two countries in the Middle East that have done nothing to us, which results in hundreds of thousands of deaths, an upsurge in Islamic terrorism, and streams of refugees, but all the only commentary the Daily Mail can come up with is "refugees are bad." Until there are pictures of some of them dying when suddenly it becomes "refugees are deserving of sympathy, just not ours."
I know the Corbyn haters dont understand this, but there is actually a section of the electorate who are as mad as hell about Britain's role in all this blatant, two faced, capricious, war mongering hypocrisy, and actually dont want it attributed to us any more.
Meanwhile Obama, with the full approval of the UK, who are now drone bombing tool, continues launching drone strikes on civilians that have so far killed 103 children and over 1000 adults. Are we going to hear about that in Mail or Telegraph? No, currently its "The red peril of 'Mao' - Corbyn's Marxist pet hamster will destroy house prices in Surrey." or something.0 -

So basically you think that media hypocrisy justifies the IRA killings at Omah, Warrington, Birmingham, Brighton etc
and the active support that Corbyn gave the IRA during the killing period?0 -
Yes, indeed reconciliation is necessary and dealing with opponents is essential.
The IRA are now part of the NI parliament and government.
However, Corbyn choose to associate himself with IRA during the period of the killings and never confronted their killings.
Did you support the IRA with pride during the period of the Birmingham, Warrington, Omagh etc bombings?
Sadly, you seem to show yourself as a fellow traveller and apologist, like a long list of unpleasant socialists over the last 100 years.
I detest the IRA and spent a part of my career dealing with PIRA. I'm just flagging up the fact that things move on quickly and McConnell is no more a of sympathiser for Irish Republicanism than our current head of state who at Cameron's behest bowed her head and lay a wreath in honour of those who died fighting my and yours country. I'm consistent in my dislike of terrorists, in my experience politicians of all colours are not, partly out of necessity of course. I don't always like my elected leaders being pragmatic and dealing with murdering scum, but understand why they do it.
I suggest you take your head out yer backside and realise that you're being played for the reactionary fool you are with the McConnell/ IRA scare story.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

People would be more likely to debate with you if you did anything other than create outrageous strawmen, Clapton:
Person: "I'll just have tea, I don't like coffee."
CLAPTON: "So you reject coffee, which was drunk on the day of Her Majesty's Coronation, thereby meaning that you detest Diana, and children, and any form of governance whatsoever, and would like to see all humanity sent to Gulags."
Thats basically what talking to you online is like, and why most people no longer bother.0 -

OMG another invasion - wasn't Iraq enough - where now?I think....0 -

Nonsense
I have made comments about the attitudes and action of Corbyn BEFORE the NI peace process.
He chose to actively support the IRA when they were killing people in both England and NI.
He made no attempt to bring the two sides together.
Indeed, the political situation has moved on and I welcome the compromises and the pragmatic attitudes that both sides have made which is making NI a better place of all the people.
However, Corbyn was no part of it and never confronted the IRA killings.
Not in anyway a decent man. I have no view on McConnell's attitude to the IRA except from the company he keeps with Corbyn.
Of course he did make that little joke about killing Thatcher but one expects nothing less from the extremists.0 -

Stick to the important point: did Corbyn show support for the IRA during their killing spree : Yes or NO?0 -

Tell you what Clapton, why dont you tell me?
Just say what you think, and justify it. As I said. I really can't be bothered with defending endless questions based on things I never said.
Its just pointless Sophistry.0 -
My speculation is that the large influx of Labour Party Members were left of left wing
And in other news, the shock speculation that the Pope is a Catholic.I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.
Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.0 -

OK Smart**** you think it's true!Me too, although I recall that in the run up there were accusations about that it was a Tory Plot.
If the new members were the cause and the Labour Party of last month suffered a coup, then, were I a L.P. Member I would be trying I think of how to exorcise the incursion.
If it was not a coup, then the Labour Party has really changed at heart and (IMHO) is truly heading for the fringes. (Which I think would be a bad thing by the way).Union, not Disunion
I have a Right Wing and a Left Wing.
It's the only way to fly straight.0
