    More than a wiff.

Les Coybynistas have complained to the BBC about Brillo Pad referring to Seamus Milne (Labour's Executive Director of Strategy and Communications, if you don't recognise the name) as a "neo-Stalinist". The latest Private Eye goes to some length to set out the evidence showing that there is nothing 'neo' about him; he's an out-and-out tankie.

well, that's unexpected; the morningstar supporting Corbyn,
what next, the IRA News coming to his aid as well?

The Morning Star is basically run by the Communist Party of Britain, which was set up by ex-CPGB hardliners. More evidence that there is a whiff of the tankies circling the Corbynistas.:)

Thought I would look in again on this thread, probably the crankiest on this site. You Rentiers are really seriously worried he might force you to contribute to society rather than milking it aren't you? This is why:

So, which of these is contributing to society and which milking it.
    1) Someone working 60 hour weeks, paying many ten of thousands of pounds of income tax per year, and claiming no benefits of any kind?
    2) Someone working a few hours a week and claiming many thousands of pounds in benefits to get themselves up to an income equivalent to a salary of £40k?

I know the left dislike and distrust those in category (1) and would like everyone to be nice socialists and do (2), but I can't see the books balancing.

    Demoted: Maria Eagle

Sacked: Pat McFadden and Michael Dugher

Resigned: Stephen Doughty, Jonathan Reynolds, Kevan Jones and

Jeremy Corbyn warned not to risk defence jobs with Trident plans
Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn was warned yesterday not to risk defence jobs with his Trident plans as he suffered another resignation from his frontbench team.
Sir Paul Kenny, general secretary of the GMB, said unions would not go “quietly into the night” if Mr Corbyn tried to change party policy on renewing the UK’s nuclear deterrent.
He has indicated he is considering giving members a vote on the divisive issue.
The Islington North MP, who is fiercely opposed to replacing Trident, said: “I want members to have a big say in it.
“Whether that comes as a vote of individual members or a vote of conference, that will be decided. I haven’t made up my mind on that.”
Sir Paul responded with a warning that unions would fight any attempt to adopt a unilateralist policy on Trident.

Corbyn plan for Labour members to get say on Trident policy 'against rules'

Party official says policymaking changes need conference’s agreement as union boss vows to fight for continued backing
Later on Monday, Corbyn was warned by Kenny that he had “another shock coming” if he tried to change party rules to introduce a policy of unilateral nuclear disarmament. The union leader said rules that decreed the Labour conference had the ultimate say over party policy must be followed.
In response to Corbyn’s claim that his overwhelming mandate in the leadership contest gave him the right to examine new ways of policymaking, Kenny said: “I don’t remember recalling any speech anywhere where someone said, ‘I’m standing on a platform that I will do what I want, when I want, irrespective of what the rules of the Labour party are.’
