Really! That's probably because you don't seem to get out much due to spending all your time on this forum? 36k posts Clapton.... well done;)
I guess that means you agree with me about that and the IRA lovers but somehow feel it's 'unfair' to mention it
Have you yet confronted the troika corbyn/mcdonnel/abbot about their IRA support and their views on mass killings by the left ?0 -
Burson's research discredited Dunning-Kruger when he pointed out that those performing at a 'higher level' in a task where just as prone to error
Which only serves to demonstrate that Burson didn't understand what Dunning-Kruger were saying, or you're misreported things.
In common with most capable people, I know that I'm fallible, don't know everything, and can make mistakes. Those who claim their value isn't being recognised are usually suffering from what DK discuss in that they don't realise that their value is actually very low.
These people will often already be being paid more than their "value", which is why they will struggle to find work elsewhere for the same/better salary. If a union then bullies even more money out of the employer, then said employee will be even more trapped, and the employer even less competitive. Bye bye entire industries.I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.
Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.0 -

BTW, I recently discovered the term "tankie" and it's all quite fascinating.

There is a strong whiff of this coming off Labour's new management.I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.

Thanks for that: I've not come across the expression before. Probably would apply to many of the new labour party leadership who seem to be unreformed hard line communists. Now that communism is totally discredited, their only policy now is hatred of Western Democracy.
I feel a bit sorry for Moby as he is probably a decent person who was genuinely ignorant about the extremist views of the new leadership clique, but has too much emotional baggage invested to confront the situation. However, not choosing to know the facts, is no excuse for continuing to be a fellow traveller.0 -

I hadn't realised that word was still current. But that's what we used to call the old CPGB hardliners, as opposed to the Eurocommies. Of course the CPGB died in the early 1990s, taking tankie with it, so I thought.:)0 -
Not one I'd ever heard before, but I guess that without violence, oppression, high fences, and a strong military, it's hard to hold a communist (or extreme socialist) country/state together for any length of time.I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.

Thought I would look in again on this thread, probably the crankiest on this site. You Rentiers are really seriously worried he might force you to contribute to society rather than milking it aren't you? This is why:Of course, Corbyn is electable and the Tories know it; his policies alone set him apart, as a politician who cares about the well-being of people, and the need for fairness in society, with all paying their fair share; and his character and personality make Corbyn different from the usual stock of fantastically rich, Eton/Winchester-educated, uncaring Bullingdon bullies imposing unnecessary austerity on those least able to defend themselves. He is the one to whom the millions of private tenants will turn when the greedy landlords impose another rent increase......

well, that's unexpected; the morningstar supporting Corbyn,
what next, the IRA News coming to his aid as well?0
