Hi sorry for late reply the 75% off and £100 credit was offered 10 months after switch off we went to virgin in January but have recently cancelled early penalty free due to price increase and I wasn't happy with the TiVo box. Have tried live chat for for offer but said that I wanted sky 2tb with mini and unlimited fibre deals but she said that they were different departments and would have to be done separately. Was thinking if no good offers on the fibre going with bt for fibre unlimited with basic TVs free bt sports (£29.99) and sky TVs full package for £20 with £100 credit to pay for sky q but would I be able to use my sky q with bt bb or would it have to be sky bb to work hope this makes sense as this way I would get full tv cinema sports, box sets, bt sport sky q for about £55 per month, I think0

If you've cancelled sky within the last 12 months, as we did when our haggling didn't work there is a new offer called come back to sky which has massive discounts. We've just gone back and now have the £80 a month package (inc movies, sport, HD and box sets, everything basically) for £20/month plus £100 credit to our account bringing the total to £11:67 a month!
So chuffed!

I've been offered the same - too late for me as I have already switched to Talktalk!"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0

Just cancelled Sky as I can't justify it really. Anyway, was offered various discounts or around 20-30% but still pursued the cancellation. Cancellation now due to take place on 17th Dec.
Just logged into My Sky and would you believe it, they are already offering 50% off. Still not going for as my argument is the same, I can't justify it.
You never know in a few months I may get the 75% come back to Sky discount, that may tempt me :-)0 -
The Offer of 50% off seems to pop up randomly every so often, as its not there every time I log into my account. It definitely says 50% off for 12 months but when I click on it, it changes to 50% off for 10 months! Due to be cut off on Saturday so I think I'll be a little more patient and wait to see what happens thenMFIT #73 - Pay all mortgage off in 3 years[STRIKE] £46,400[/STRIKE]£34,295 PAID £12,1050

They offered my 75% off on the morning I got cut off - you wont have to wait weeks0

Second day of battling with Sky, they are now offering me even less than before.
20% off for 10 months, when I was offered free Cinema for a year previously.
Are they catching on to hagglers? Should I have taken the first offer?0 -
Was offered 20% initially before they actioned the cancellation, then as soon as they did it upped to 30%. Still wasn't interested. Then had an email last week offering 50% off. Ignored. And yesterday another one now with 60% off which expires at midnight tonight. I noticed the small print mentions both 12 months and 10 months in the blurb so one must be a mistake/typo. Mentioned 12 months more than 10 though.
Think I might call tonight and ask them what is the very best deal they can offer in light of the 75% offered as soon as you disconnect - if it goes that far I ain't going back to them.
Tired of all the games, they are as bad as insurers!
edit - just called and asked what was best offer no games. said 60%. Said I know you'll call as soon as disconnected and offer 75% off and a credit (which he seemed miffed about the fact the info was "out there" on the internet. lol). Admitted yes to the 75% but couldn't offer me it just now. Also said that anyone that claimed they got a credit as well as 75% to come back was telling porkies and this never happens. I know who I am more inclined to agree but again enough of the games.0 -
Hi,
I have with Sky only unlimited broadband plus phone (line rental and free talks evenings and weekends). I pay £21 per month, which I find expensive when I read all the stories with whole package ie. (inc movies, sport, HD and box sets, everything basically) for £12 a month (!)...
My contract is about to expire on 4th December, and I'd like to have much better offer than my current one. Have any of you managed to get offer only for broadband & phone from Sky?
Thanks for support0 -

However, last week, after someone mentioned the 75% plus £100 offer, I checked My Sky and found the same offer.
The full cost of phone and broadband is now much higher than when I left, thanks to the 'need' for combined prices giving an excuse to sneak in larger price rises, so this makes any current offers difficult to compare.0
