What if the OP has already signed a Reg15?

If the fine has gone to the County Court it's most likely a ccj http://www.stepchange.org/Debtinformationandadvice/Whatyourcreditorscando/Courtaction/EnglandWalescourtaction/CCJ.aspx

If Bailiffs have been issued it's because you didnt resond in time, if you havent allowed the bailiff into the property already they will bring you an N245 to fill out to make an offer of payment

I don't know what your issue is. You appealed. The appeal was denied and you had to pay the fine. You haven't paid the fine. It seems you have wilfully refused to pay the fine. The baliffs have been sent in as a result of you refusing to pay the fine.

You appear to think that going on a course is in lieu of a fine. The adjudicator will not enter onto correspondence as he has no powers to allow this. You are effectively asking him to quash the fine, even after your appeal was denied.

you are acting arrogantly. If you had paid the fine, ypu would not have the baliffs knocking on the door demanding not just payment of the fine, but their fees.

Your heading of 'huge fine' is wrong. Its the same fine as it always was. You are now paying baliffs fees.

Your approach, attitude and arrogance beggar belief.

There will be no bailiff fees for a CCJ, only court costs. The bailiffs from the county court are salaried and not on commission or out for charging vistation fees

Isn't it £60 or £90? My brother got one and I'm sure it wasn't more than £100.

Am I missing something here. The OP entered a box junction before the exit was clear and had to stop in it. That is what the fine is for.

    Good

People that stop in box junctions deserve everything they get.

You obviously don't live in the real world!
  • Stopping on a yellow box is an absolute offence. There are no if, buts or maybes - you either stopped or didnt. I this case it looks like you've been banged to rights and I'd suggest the best course of action would be to pay the money owed before you get into more trouble.

    Another comment to add.

I guess you are a serial complainer it would be good if you stopped as you are costing us all money with ridiculous appeals.
Don't threat about them breaking into your house, they will probably just seize your car, this should give you plenty of time to brush up on the highway code.

Isn't the offence entering a yellow box when your exit isn't clear? That's what I've always thought, otherwise you can crawl at 1mph but still obstruct the box.

Just asking for my own clarification, not to be pedantic.

"... no person shall cause a vehicle to enter the box junction so that the vehicle has to stop within the box junction due to the presence of stationary vehicles. " [The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002, Schedule 19(7(1))]. it goes on to give an exemption for turning right.
