To my knowledge, we've not seen WH (or RH if you prefer!) take anything beyond threatogram stage.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • Hi
I got a reply from Wright hassell

Further to our recent email, we can confirm we are in receipt of our client’s response.

Photographic evidence was obtained at the time of the contravention. In order to look at the evidence, please log on to the website http://www.ngpltd.com/viewticket and enter the following details:

    Vehicle Registration:
    PCN Number:

Our client has also confirmed that you previously viewed the Parking Charge Notice (PCN) online, but unfortunately did not file any appeal to support your claim. When you received the initial notification of a Parking Charge Notice (PCN) it will have stated the date of the PCN, which will usually be called the contravention date, you had 28 days from this date in which you could have appealed the PCN. Upon receipt of a response to the appeal you will have been provided with a Parking on Private Land Appeals (POPLA) reference.

POPLA is independent of all parties to appeals, including the operator and the British Parking Association, as are the Assessors who make the determinations. An appeal to POPLA must have been made within 28 days. As you have not appealed within this timeframe your account has been passed to ourselves to recover.

In light of the above, we will place a 7 day hold on this matter to allow you time to make payment in full or alternatively provide documentary evidence to substantiate non-payment of the PCN. Should payment in full or evidence not be received the hold will be removed and the matter may be passed to the Litigation Team to review the case with a view to issuing a claim and obtaining judgment.

Please see below our payment methods for your convenience:

    Erm... that's not their client.

    Their client is ZZPS.

I'd be sending that to the SRA.
