It might be your lecturer but London is so crowded and public transport so crowded it isn't surprising you have a cold.

I hope you feel better soon x

    Hey Tink,

Boo to the cold! Wrap up warm, have some soup or honey and lemon - you'll be feeling better in no time :) good luck with YNAB, I've heard great things about it but haven't got it myself - will be good to see how you get on with it :)

Hi everyone. I thought the same about London DIA. Still feeling carp and I didn't get out of bed till one, I went to bed at nine lol. I'm taking everything I can so it doesn't last long hopefully.

Jumblerina - Tink Towers - That made me laugh. I'm going to leave it another week because Mr D pulled it down a couple of times last year. He is better behaved now but just one more week without the worry will be good.

I've made myself a little savings plan for next year that I can hopefully stick to. It's the penny a day challenge and I've stuck it into my journal to keep track of. Going to be easy at first, not so sure towards the end of the year, but every penny helps.

Must get on with my homework, don't want a detention lol.

    Take care.

I've been looking at the challenges for next year to keep me focused. I'm going to do the £1 a day for Christmas thread. Hoping to find it from my fares budget and walk more. This week I paid £9 in fares by walking loads! Usually I get a travel pass for £25.
    Have a lovely Sunday x

I'm hoping I can save a bit on train travel as I use it once a week to go to College. Usually costs £15.90 return. I get my student card next week but if that doesn't help I'm going to see if it will be cheaper if I buy it monthly or something like that. I'm not used to using trains but there must be a way to save money somewhere.

So I'm feeling much better tonight. I've done most of my Christmas shopping on line, just need something for DD and a bottle of whiskey for my Dad.. I've done a bit of washing and my homework, had a shower and not much else so lovely relaxing Sunday.

I can report that payday was Friday and my debts are now down to £13,787.94. I'm going to plan my spreadsheet for the year this week. I have up to the end of March at the moment so hopefully I can plan how much I can pay off next year. At least then all the figures will be ready to post into YNAB when I get started, and I might be able to work out how long it is going to take. I do have a couple of small debts that I might try and make full and final offers on but I need to read up on this as I'm not sure how they work.

I'm also going to review my tax credits and also CSA as this payment has stayed the same for years (its a pittance) and when it was first started he was paying for another two children. I've tried to get it reviewed before but they say its the same. How can it be? He's in a better job and not paying for the other two anymore as they are over 18 and working so surely it should go up. I think he might be sending them false figures. Hes' only got another two years to pay so I can't see it being a hardship to him and I will give it straight to DD anyway as a clothing allowance for college.

That's enough to be getting on with lol.

I'm not sure how this has happened but I have just found a letter that was mixed in with some junk mail that nearly went to the recycling. For some reason that I don't know, or maybe more truthfully don't understand, £725.02 of my debt has been cleared by the debt agency it was with. I'm not going to argue with them and this gets rid of debt number 4. That's a big incentive to get the rest cleared.

    That's brilliant news Tink!

Glad you are getting sorted for Christmas. Getting to the end of christmas shopping is my favourite part of December :)

CSA sounds like they need to get that sorted for you ASAP, that can't be right!

Glad you are feeling better xx
