Don't think of it as wasting your holiday, but giving your body what it needs xx

Thanks Sam. I'm hoping it gets sorted soon to. The present is now off Mr D teeth marks and all lol.
Don't think I'll be doing eBay the same. I should have staggered it as I had 18 packages to send. Lesson learned. Made enough money to cover the cost of my new battery though.

Hi Tink, hope the doctor has found you something to help with the cough. It does get draining when you have something for a while and I totally agree about just giving your body what it needs - sleep and eat well and just relax.
Hurrah for your 3bay efforts and well done on getting yourself a free battery

Hi Tink, You did great on 3bay. Wow 18 packages...You said you would make back the money for London and you did! The BJ thread is a great idea too.

Thanks everyone. I hope I get some answers from it too. I'm a bit worried about London but I don't tend to get breathless just walking but if I have to do stairs then I do. Even taking Mr D out in the garden makes me breathless.
Some of the items I sold on eBay only went for 99p but better than nothing.
Time has flown today so didn't get round to doing the new thread but I will tomorrow hopefully. Also managed 3 out of 4 NSD's. This week and next week I have got to keep to budget so does that mean 7 NSD's as every penny is budgeted for. I'm hoping my boss is in a good mood tomorrow and pays me the extra I'm owed as I've tightened my belt that much I really need it. It's a very small firm and he knows some of my circumstances so should be ok.
Ohh can't remember if I've said but I start college a week on Tuesday. So excited. That will be another of my note books converted to a college journal lol.
Hope everyone has had a nice weekend.

Forgot to mention something I've been thinking about. DD will start college next September and I'm worried about things she will need. The most obvious is clothes. I wish they had uniform at college, it would make life so much easier. So when I move into my mums I think I'm going to start a little college fund for her. Luckily she loves Primark so I'm hoping I won't need too much.

Hello Tink,
I think putting a little fund aside for things is always a great idea. Even if you're way off the amount you need, at least you have that buffer there. If you can put that money aside and not touch it then, to me, a regular saver sounds like it would give your savings a little boost too? That may not work if you need to borrow and pay back from that fund though.
Yay for shops like Primark

Doctors appointment wasn't great and I've been awake most of the night. I'm not going to do what I normally do and stay away from here. No one else I can talk to. Don't want to tell mum as she is a worrier and DD is going to be taking her exams soon. Be back later to explain better.
