    HI DIA

It is lovely, a pale green colour with a charm and some clips. I'm not going to run two, I'm just setting it up ready for next year. It's a ring binder so it means I can have all my different sections together in once place and just add pages in when I think of something else. I've been in a notebook for months now thinking that I might not keep it up, but I've amazed myself by still doing it so it is a little treat.

Yes, I've now finished work and I have to admit that I am still in bed :o I was so looking forward to a lie in but Mr D had me up at 5am and then 7am. I think the fireworks are unsettling him a lot and it is every night round here. Someone must really hate dogs as they were letting one off every half hour the other night. So I'm just chilling at the moment but I do plan to get up soon and visit my friend.

It's 3 weeks today until we go to London. It's payday today as well so I will have to move the triip money into my savings account so it is safe. I'm also going to order DD's presents today. She knows she isn't getting a lot but I have found some good cheap things and she is going to have them spread through the day. The trip is her main present and she will have money to spend there. It's days like today I am in love with my spreadsheet. It's set up to February next year so I can see what difference it would make to my future if I overspent.

I haven't thought about joining that challenge again as I always used to fail. I think I might just say here and see how I go. I plan for 4 next week but if it was for the month I think I might do the same as you, 15, and see how I go. If I'm near I might join the challenge again next month.

Hope you get to have a rest too this weekend. I'm only being lazy today as DD is still in bed watching tv and I will still be getting up with her next week so I can go to mums, walk the dogs and then get decluttering her house lol.#

    Hi Tink,
I have to confess I too have my next journal lined up too. I met a friend today and explained the system to her and she wants one now. Look what you have started Tink...
I asked for the day off today just so I could take it easy. I'm going to bed soon too, so I'm still pacing myself.
    Have a restful weekend :)

Oops I didn't want to increase anyone's spending, but it does make you more organised.

I got a sick day deducted again this month, the second time, and I haven't been off sick. Bit annoyed and text boss. He said he will sort it for the next pay run but I was counting on that money. Don't want to do it over text for I will wait until I go back to work and ask if he will sort it out.

I've ordered DD's presents today and they should all be here this week while I am off. I also have a few things on e-bay that have bids, I think 7 of the 9. One has eight watchers so I'm hoping that goes well tomorrow when they end.

My car wouldn't start this morning, the battery was flat. I've been thinking for a few days that I might need a new battery. Got a jump start from a neighbour and when I got to my mum's DD had to push it. Been ok since then but I have to take DD's BF home later and got a feeling I will have the same problem. Unfortunately this will have to come out of the London fund. I seriously need an emergency fund next year.

  • Bulletjournalling hasn't increased my spending at all. I used to pay silly money for my diary and then spend again for a separate notebook. This way is cheaper :)

Sorry to hear about the car. I want one next year and they can provide so much freedom but when they go wrong it is a pain! Hopefully 3bay will help with building back the London money again :)

  • I'm counting on ebay now DIA. I was the same with a diary and notebook. This way is so much easier.

Just updated my total and just under £14k.

I'm a bullet journal convert now too. Thank you. Ive decided to run a small one up until the end of the year when I'll have found the styles I like for next year. I have so many stickers and pens. I just need colouring pencils now and I'll be set. Pinterest has seen me a lot recently too.

Sorry to hear about your car not starting. Even worse that it's affecting your London budget. Do you have someone who can change the battery for you, or do you change it yourself? YouTube has great tutorials if you decide to do it yourself.

I hope your boss immediately sorts out your missing money once you see him.

Fingers crossed you get your pay sorted soon Tink. They really ought to fix it asap.

I feel I am missing something re bullet journals, but I have a few other things to finish up before I can safely lose myself in Pinterest... I'm thinking it might be a holiday project so I can put one together in the new year :)

Sam I do think you'd find one useful as you have so much going on. It's worth looking up on Pinterest and YouTube etc. MTxx
