Evening all,
I have survived but only just!! Didn't get back home from cleaning tenants house until 8.30pm, just had a quick shower and now going to have some toast.
I have quickly skimmed the thread but will catch up properly tomorrow (after a good nights sleep I hope!)
Congratulations SnowWhite0 -
Thanks for starting us off LegoMum. Sorry you're feeling poorly.
Congrats SnowWhite -I have memories of nearly crying in a maths GCSE exam it was so hard!
Well it has been an eventful day for me today as WE GOT ENGAGED!! I knew a ring was being made but not when he'd ask. He also paid for it in instalments so no debt. It is beautiful and I'm so lucky to have him. We're getting married in September next year but are both determined to pay for everything so we don't start married life in debt. He has been bankrupt so at least doesn't have easy access to credit! If anyone knows of any thrifty wedding threads please let me know!
LSD as needed bits from supermarket
FPL done, surveys to check. I can cash out a Boots voucher but will wait until I can get a larger amount so I can get new mascara and bb cream
Sold another item of furniture for £20 today so dropped that off and collected the money
Not sure I'll be able to sleep tonight as I just keep looking at the ring!! Hope the wedding planning isn't too stressful, looking at wedding photographers this afternoon and the average cost was £1000!!!...

Congratulations princess! I got married 3 years ago on a tight(ish) budget and it was a fabulous day. There was a wedding thread among these forums I used, and I bought a lot of stuff second hand. And we had a BBQ instead of a formal sit down dinner. Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control
