Just a quick check in before electricity goes off... New meter on its way. Ooh must boil kettle first!

Just changed my bedding and helped DS build a Lego train track. I think he's coming down with something:(

Anyway, no laundry being done but I have 2 loads waiting- will do later when we have power and are back from my Aunts.

Sort of hoping they sort the meter quick and my mum gets here early- maybe we'll have time to take DD for her tap shoes...

    Right! Kettle!

Morning everyone, am absolutely shattered hence the late posting of the list today. For some reason all the running around at the beginning of the week/yesterday has got to me. All my limbs ache and my ear is really playing me up more than normal. I have had that under control but last night I had to get up in the middle of the night and take some painkillers and have a milky drink till the pain subsided.. Hence I then slept in when I went to bed after DH went to work at 6am. Also I have lot my motivation - has anyone seen it? I had good intentions to make a couple of cakes - cherry bread pudding and apricot flapjacks to save me from picking so much during the day. But after buying all the ingredients I flagged..that's as far a I got... :(

After reading about the thundershirt for Kelpie HoneyBear I was wondering if Scruffydog's belly band works in the same way - swaddles him underneath and makes him feel comfortable and clean, where he was previously uncomfortable and getting wet. Although I have looked up details of the thundershirt for Jet, my bigger dog, who doesn't settle when we are on holiday. And as we are going away in a couple of weeks I thought I might get one for Jet to see if it worked..still thinking about it though as it's an expensive outlay incase it doesn't work.

Think I will finish watching Who Loves Raymond on the tivo, then go and get showered and dressed.. I then have to dash to Mr's M's to pick up the night time pads for Scruffydog as I got his daytime ones but totally forgot to get the night time ones yesterday..doh!! Must remember NOT to spend any more money in there than I have to as I can't afford it especially as I somehow managed to buy two dressed and a pair of sandals from Mr A while I was ordering D's t.shirts for my "sister's" BBQ at the weekend.

If anyone fancies doing a HHC I will join in..but not for the next 15 minutes..lol

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning all.

I've not caught up with the thread so Hugs, spoons, congrats, happy birthday/anniversary, vibes etc to all. :p

I don't know where this week is going, but its going fast! Lost yesterday afternoon to taking the dog to the vets. He's got a sore patch on his back leg which we thought was getting better, but he's been chewing it and yesterday it was big, red and ugly looking so we took him in. While we were there we got them to check for a water infection (he's just got high protein but the markers that he could end up with another one :( ), one of his claws which is black while all the rest are white (they said its firmly in place so don't worry but keep an eye on it, which is what I've been doing since we got him!) and discussed getting him neutered/vaccinated etc. But yet again we have to wait until he's well, I swear everytime I get the money together to pay for those he gets an infection and I have to pay out for something else, its like he knows ;):rotfl:

Anyway I have to go to Mr A today for a top up shop & dog food, then I have to go to the pet shop for a bag of dried dog food they don't sell in Mr A but is recommended by the vets (which will hopefully help with a lot of minor issues), and the vets to pick up anti-biotics as they didn't have them in that branch yesterday. DD also wants me to pop into a couple of charity shops to see if I can pick up a book I saw for her the other day, only problem is I can't remember which shop it was in so I'll have to work my way through them :o I'm going to leave DD home to fly and read while I'm out as I shouldn't be that long, and it stops the huffing and puffing and "can we go home now?"

Going to update the list with whats already been done this week, then I should really get moving.

Right, now I've finally managed to finish this post after an hour of trying to fix the fr33view box (appears to be sulking after rain has gotten down the TV ariel and dripped into it from the signal booster) and having to replace it with the spare I had upstairs while it fully dries out, I think its time I went for my shower and get on with errands! I can see its going to be one of those days :(

    Hi ladies and gents!

I moved house at the end of last month and we still have things left over.

I'm tired of living in the last bits of clutter so by the end of this weekend I aim to:
Put all clothes away in the wardrobe
Pack away and store all unused linen
    Finish filling my bookshelves
Sort and pack away all of my paperwork
Decide what kitchen stuff is staying and what is for the charity shop
Buy a second CD rack for OH's CD collection to save on horizontal box space
    Fill my living room cupboards
Put up key and coat hooks
There, now I've told you all so I must do it lol!
