Everyone seems busy here
Just finished paid stuff for the week and collected kiddies from school club. DS seems thoroughly fed upsays he's tired and his tummy is hot.
DD having a snack so I'm thinking of not cooking tonight.
Had a tidy in garage office today while I was working- so made a bit more space in there.
Also started to think about packing- might move the DR table to one side so I can put our cases on the floor and start gathering what we need.
Fairly tidy here but we are at home in the morning so that won't last long;)Bossymoo

To use a Valli-ism: wooty-wooty-woop, this morning I have eaten the Frog that was part of my summer challenge - my 2014-15 tax return! :j :j :j and I've done it 19 days and 11 hours earlier than I did last year's, IYSWIM
I did mine a few days ago; it's a rotten job, so I'm really glad it's "done and dusted" for another year.
I've set aside the amount I shall have to give HMRC, but they can wait til they send me a statement, I don't actually have to part with the money just yet.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
I'm home...

- [STRIKE]post parcel on way to gym[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]body pump at gym[/STRIKE]Instructor off, so some wild thing called High Intensity Interval Training. Hm. I guess if it was on at the time I wanted to be at the gym, I wouldn't avoid it - but I wouldn't seek it out.
- [STRIKE]2 students at uni[/STRIKE]1 cancelled so home early
- [STRIKE]coffee with new assessor at uni[/STRIKE]
- doubtless more vacuuming when I get home;[STRIKE] hopefully bay window will be in[/STRIKE] so I can replace plants etc on windowsill. I guess the kitchen windows will be next, so [STRIKE]will need to move everything out of the way (2 windows: several plants, toaster, slow cooker, kettle and in fact most of the "stuff" that dwells on the worktop is all on the window side of the room[/STRIKE]).
- continue with misc list
Ha - it wasn't until reading this list that I realised I hadn't cleared the kitchen windowsills. Done it now.
Didn't do much of misc list, but took MIL to Sainsbugs as she isn't allowed to bend over or lift things since her op.
Tomorrow:
gym, think it's Body Balance. May check and see what else is on.
Afternoon to myself as private student cancelled.
Back to misc list, vacuuming after fitters, maybe even main list.
Well done on the tax return Ionafan, must do mine......Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -

In my family there are 6 'batches' of siblings. My sisters and I are the only all-female batch so we have been referred, all our lives, and still are referred to, as 'the girls'.:rotfl:Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Well, it wasn't on the flight plan, but this afternoon I have sorted all my financial papers - of which there were lots dating back 7 years and more, as I used to be self-employed and have carefully kept everything in case HMRC decided to check out my records.
No less than 6 lever arch files are now empty :j :j :j :j :j :j and ready to use for family history papers instead. I have a 5-ream paper box full of loose pages to be shredded (the compost bin is already overflowing with shredded paper and I have started filling a black bin bag). The remaining paperwork which has to be kept for 6 years is all in one deep A4 box in the loft with my account books; each pack is labelled with the date when it is to be decluttered, all the packs are in date order, and there is a list in the box of all the contents and destruction dates (and a copy in with my current HMRC paperwork).
There is a carrier bag full of punched clear plastic pockets to take to the CS and a huge pile of file dividers to be used for the family history.
Am I highly organised or obsessive? You decide! :rotfl:
Tomorrow:
- we have friends coming for the evening meal, so I need to put the beef in the SC early
- go shopping for more fruit and veg
- clean quickly through the house (everything is tidy except for DH's computer on the DR table, which he says he will move when I ask him to)
- prepare food
- depending on the weather, do some reading or computer work or gardening in whatever time is left
Good night all x0 -
Student bank ac applied for by ds1. Laptops visited but since the SA tried to sell us a phone contract before dealing with what we were shopping for. My alarm bells were ringing. He was also trying to sell every assessory and program possible. Ds2 had a massive meltdown just before we left the shopping centre. Hoping we aren't appearing on FB videos or wanted posts.
DH's alarm woke me up at 5pm so I have sorted wash to go on.
Basic hygiene standards here plus extras when possible as I'm needed by ds2.
I did clear and dust toy corner last night.0
