Hi everyone,
I hope your Sunday is proving enjoyable. mine certainly is.
OH and I (plus 3 friends) are now on our second holiday in September and currently find ourselves aboard "Gillian", our 69ft narrowboat.
We set off from Stoke Prior in Worcestershire on Friday afternoon and climbed the 34 locks to the top of Tardebigge in 4 hours and 7 minutes (not bad going actually). Overnight in Gas St Basin in Birmingham last night and cruised to Wolverhampton today in glorious sunshine. We're awaiting the arrival tomorrow of the 6th member of our crew who is arriving by train complete with lasagne so we're moored up by the station - hope the trains don't keep us awake!!
A lovely relaxing time to spend until Friday and the long drive home in the knowledge that there's no more time off until Christmas!!
If you see us - give us a toot!!

Hi all,
Well I'm back off my second holiday in a month - talk about packing them in!!!
Had a really relaxing time on the narrowboat and it has reignited my dream of owning one myself as I quite like the idea of a simple lifestyle with less stress. So I just need to save £100,000 and I'm sorted!! Lol
Back to the grindstone on Monday - I'm giving myself the weekend off to to get straight (that's as in organised not as in "non-gay" - no chance of that!!! :rotfl:)
I'm ringing church bells this afternoon which is always relaxing. Then I shall come home, cook a nice meal and sit down with my computer and work out my September finances as I've got a little behind with them. Then I'll update on here where I'm at as per September 30th.
Then full steam ahead for the week. I have 4 weeks to grow my morning SW group to 50 members (39 last week - but 45 the week prior so they're on the books, I just need to support them to attend!) and my evening group to 70 (66 last week so almost there).
Lots to do, but I'm refreshed with new goals and a drive to succeed. Let's see how long it lasts!!
Missed you all - looking forward to getting back into posting regularly.

Wishing you all a happy Wednesday! ♥️
I don't know what the weather's like with you but it's absolutely belting it down outside Thistle Towers! A far cry from the wonderful sunshine and glorious warmth of last week's holiday on the canal!
I've got so much stuff to do today....
I've to contact all the lapsed members from my SW group and encourage then back into group. This will be a fairly heartfelt letter as there are some of the members I feel I've really let down but not being strong enough when they were struggling, and fulfilling the promises I made to them on their first night. It weighs heavily on my mind but sometimes there just aren't enough hours in the day to get to everyone.
Anyway, today, I'll be trying to send at least 40 letters out which will hopefully have a 25% success rate. I'm SO close to my goals of 50 members in my morning group and 70 in my evening group and I need this by end of October in order to fulfill the criteria required to continue as Team Developer. If I screw this up, it'll mean a significant drop in income so I absolutely have to make it work.
I am totally up to doing what is necessary but as you can imagine, it's quite a stressing time for me and I'm not sleeping properly because of it. I'm getting great support from my manager which makes a world of difference and I hope that, if I miss my goals, I'll be granted a 3 month extension (which would include January - the best month for group building!!!).
I really need to demonstrate my commitment to the job but sometimes I'm paralysed with dread about it all.
Anyway, moping won't help so I'm off to start the task in hand.
I've a physio appt at 2:30pm which will punctuate the day (my physio Abu is just lovely - much nicer and effective than the last one), and then off to weigh in at my own group tonight at 7pm to witness the damage from the excesses of my holiday chompings!
Long waffle today, but I'll be back when I've broken the back of my letters.
A ☕️ To begin with , methinks!!
Have a good day!

Happy Monday everyone (if there is such a thing!)
Things at Thistle Towers are going well although I'm working ever hour I can to grow my groups to meet a deadline by Week 5 of October. More on this later, but it's crucial that I succeed.
Financial news:
Credit card is now 5% covered - I say covered because its on a 0% rate until Feb 2017, so I'm budgeting for it on YNAB but only paying the minimum payments to the card. Keeping my monies with the Spanish Bank so the interest will offset their new £5 monthly charge from January - sneaky, sneaky bank!!! Fortunately, it's still the best deal for me with the amount I have in my account so I'll be staying with them in spite of the 150% hike!
My mortgage is almost 10% paid off and will be by end November. It'll also be sub £81,000 by end November and into the £70Ks by end of March 2016 which will be a cause for celebration. Then it'll be another 3 years and 2 months before it hits the £60Ks if I don't intervene sooner with the odd bonus overpayment!
My daily interest will become sub £10 at end February 2016.
Some important milestones approaching!!!
Feeling less worried than I was a couple of weeks before. Wonder how long that will last!

I used to find this with the onepoll ones as well. Keep saying I should start surveys again, but can't be bothered.HOME

Morning!
Loads to do today. I've to contact a whole list of members who may wish to come to a presentation tomorrow evening to fin out about becoming a Consultant for SW. That'll help me achieve my growth target of 3 by end of January 2016.
I've to do my member support today, so I'll be sending out letters and cards to those who've been struggling recently. Text messages to the members who just didn't turn up and haven't let me know. Letters to my new starters to set them up for the week ahead.
My new Consultant who opened her new group yesterday (1 growth for me in this quarter!!!) welcomed 38 new members which was awesome. As this was more than 25, I'll earn a bonus of £100 which I will allocate to the CC debt and to the fun fund which is overdrawn from last month's holidays.
All looking good on the SW side then - onwards and upwards.
