    ^ ^ ^ Wot she said.
Piggers dare I hope the Universe is going to finally smile on you?:o

Major amounts of posi-vibes to the entire CY clan; I shall have a quiet word with Coyote about leaving you be for the foreseeable.;)

I have (amazingly) dusted all the flat surfaces in the bungalow that I can safely get to today. As usual, I am totally Flying off-piste, but at least getting something done.

Shan't be around tomorrow; Mr LW has to visit the horse-piddle for the appointment they should have offered him last October:mad: and as we know what horse-piddle waiting room times are like, he's taken a day's annual leave. I've also suggested he take a book with him.;)I'll be going with him and bringing the car back when he goes for his appointment, and going to fetch him again when he's done (bu88er paying car-parking fees to add insult to injury).

Time for Bailey & Cassie's afternoon outing now; they're too much for me to take for walks on my own, so I give them a game with their tennis balls in the garden twice during the day, (plus a bit of a brush, as they're moulting enough to stuff cushions with), and Mr LW helps me take them for a walk in the evenings.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Well today has not quite gone to plan, as I have been side-tracked by ds2's bedroom. I have decluttered all of his floor, moved the old mattress into the shed, hoovered all of the carpet, ordered a new set of drawer, as his current one is beyond repair and also filled the holes in the wall. I will paint his room tomorrow, as I already have the paint.

I am having a 5 minute break and then I am going to tackle some of the master bedroom whilst the dinner is cooking, as I can barely get into the room at present and I can not get anywhere near the wardrobe.

DD2's fiance has been released and they are back at the hotel. It cost them £100, but they were worried it would be more, so.happy.

DD1 has got the keys to a flat she will be sharing with her best mate. It will be very strange not to have her here, but she is raring to go. Those who have known me for a long time will know that there were times when I didn't think she'd ever have a life, let alone get a job and move out....

That, Cycling, is fantastic news about your DD1.

Dad has been, wall light 2 back in situ, as is the clock - which has been 'in a safe place' since October. I have ironed a maidenful, been to pick up a spare sky remote from my friend and am cleaning and wiping down as I go around the LR. Should be back to normal, and sparkling, shortly.

  • Didn't achieve an awful lot yesterday (as is the same with every Monday), but hoping to do a bit of S&S before we head to the cinema this evening after tea. Going to see that new Mission Impossible film, hoping it will be as good as Inside Out which we saw last week (AMAZING! One of those with jokes for kids and grownups :)) Tough act to follow!

Great news about your DD2's fiance CY, glad he's ok.

Good news about both CY must be a relief for you xx

Kidlets fed, inlaws gone home and I'm thinking of having a quiet evening. Do you know what, I might just read a book! A real one, with paper and everything!

    Afternoon all :hello:

Pigpen - What a gorgeous dress :D How long have I got to get my outfit sorted

CY - Glad to hear DD2's fianc! back out okay and great news for you DD1 getting sorted with new flat

I have watered the balcony pots and boxes and dead-headed as needed. Not such a good display this year as not had enough sunshine and too much windy, cold weather. Oh well I can't change that eh.

Did some more paper shuffling and nearly finished the accounts for July, so think I'll go back to that in a minute after a cuppa.

The beef and veggie Bolognese sauce is defrosting so will only have to throw some pasta at the pot and do a bit of salad. Think DH due in about 7.00 tonight so I'll wait and eat with him for a change.

If it's gone I've done it or don't have one
