Thanks for the thread Bossy (hope you are still enjoying doing it)
CY and FBO strength and love for you both this week girls, you are an inspiration.
This^
TYVM for thread, not that I have managed to look in until now BUT
parents came down yesterday to remove radiator and wall lights (to aid paper removal) with the intention of mum coming down Tues to make a start on the papering.
however...
she couldn't go down to my sister's today (she usually goes on a Monday to clean and help) as it's my sister's pearl anniv. So we have made a start. Then my dad turned up - he brought his mower and strimmer and gave the back garden a short back and sides THEN came and refitted the radiator and one wall light! Tomorrow we should finish what we can get done for now; we are leaving the window as it should be being replaced. I couldn't have done it without them! Re-pressurised the the boiler; now gathering energy to vacuum under the WM before I shove it back!
I've also done DW x 1 and WM x 3 and have a teetering ironing pile!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Evening all - I'm back!
Spent most of today asleepbut at least I now feel as though I know what the day / date / time is!!
Had an amazing time and am now back to reality with a bump - need to get myself sorted and then get the house sorted. Lots of washing needs doing but the weather is against me.
Hope everyone is ok - sorry if I've missed anything important to any one of you.

Checking in before I check out to bed...
Didn't get dentist sorted but pretty much happy with progress today, considering I'm currently feeling very down. Stacked two massive piles of logs in the lounge fireplace, ready for the colder weather, so I've had quite a workout today, loads of ironing done, bed changed in master bedroom and online food shop done in addition to my list of to-dos from this morning.
Now relaxing with a glass of wine. DH engrossed in football and/or Game of War (Dizzy stifles a yawn to both) and dogs all curled up snoring. First bit of quiet I've had all day...0 -
Welcome back froddy x
List updated for tomorrow - and I'm starting now by getting some sleep. DD warned to stay in her bed tonightBossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Welcome back froddy - sounds like you had a great time.
I ran completely out of steam this evening. The sun was shining straight into the study bedroom this afternoon, so I did the ironing before starting on the resource boxes, then stopped to cook tea. DH went out straight afterwards and I simply never got going again
So here is my list for tomorrow:
- check and update 4 resource boxes
- SW
- arrange for friends to come for a meal
- clean kitchen and DR
- collect library book from next town
- do food shop
- make skirt for DGD2
DH will be out again tomorrow evening!0 -
Ionafan I just cut the apricots in half, de-stone and freeze.
Hm where's my list:
[STRIKE]1 report to finish and send tomorrow[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]2 students on Wed pm at uni[/STRIKE] cancelled
As much exercise as possible pre-holiday with my mum Did Insanity, whew, hadn't done that since Nov
[STRIKE]More fruit to freeze [/STRIKE]crossed some out but still more!
More weeds to pull. tomorrow
Lots of dust to declutter.whenever
Ditto webs.ditto whenever
Also posted letters
Went to Mata1an to get top I'd left on hanger
Emptied compost bin from kitchen
Kept up with emails
Washed up a load of pans then promptly used one again.
Hi Pigpen :hello:Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0
