    Morning flyladies.

    FBO - well done
CY - please keep cheering us on
Bossy - thanks for this list
Piggers - great to see you posting

Pick and mix list is great for me this week as I'm off the paid stuff so won't be following my own routine much either.

So far today I have dusted the dusty bits in the living room, made the bed and fed me and the dogs.

I'm just having second 'cuppa' of the day (actually just hot water as I'm trying to be good), will then get dressed and walk the dogs.

It looks like another lovely day, so I'm planning to pop into town (have been told of a new charity shop - everything £1), some gardening and some things off today's list.

Mr T delivery is mid afternoon so I'm glad I managed to get the freezers defrosted over the weekend.

Also need to make a batch of fruit salad for the week and make a big batch of soup using veggies from the garden.

I'll stop wittering now. Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.

    :j:hello::hello::hello: piggers

Know you don't do (((hugs))), but we've been missing you and very glad to know you are ok.

Done my weigh in and measure this morning. Up 2lb and an inch all over. Will be good this week. Off to gym session at 0930 once the guy has come to measure up the sofa and chair for new covers. Is it sad that this has me rreeeealy excited?

Went to a de-cluttering workshop on Saturday - brilliant. Can't wait to make progress on getting rid of stuff this afternoon.
    Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18
    Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o

Morning all, and special   to pigpen and CY.

    :bdaycake: :bdaycake:
Many Happy Returns of their special days to Squeak and Pixie.
    :bdaycake:
    Happy Birthday to Mr Kitten.

Hope your back pain is easing now, dancemum
Very pleased to hear that Master Moo got his bike back :j
FBO, you are doing great! :T
Narc0, do you freeze your apricots as they are or cook them first?

We had a lovely weekend in Wales. The Golden Wedding concert was a mix of local talent and a baritone from the WNO Chorus, and all very enjoyable. A very substantial supper was laid on by our friends, after which I spent 1.5 hours doing the washing up and packing away uneaten food, while DH sorted out the church's Henry's indigestion and cleaned the hall floor :A
Yesterday we skipped church to drive over the mountains and visit the fantastic Dyfi ospreys, then back for a pub roast lunch with our friends before coming home. We have eaten far too much ice cream and bara brith :o so I'm dreading weigh-in tomorrow  and have meal-planned for today to use up all the veg in the fridge.

DH has just gone off for a fasting blood test. I have already started my list for today:

    - [STRIKE]Open the windows and let some air in [/STRIKE]- and DH opened the front door so that has aired downstairs :D
[STRIKE]- prepare breakfast for when DH gets back[/STRIKE]
    - work your way through the house with that feather duster (or whatever you have). Dust and deweb, as far through as you like / need. Follow your dust trail with the vacuum cleaner - will do upstairs so that I can also...
    - Put all spare single bedding back in the vacuum bag and away in the linen cupboard
    - Remake spare bed
    - S&S a sink or two, S&S a toilet or two - will do bathroom, ensuite and workmen's loo (all need it)
    - [STRIKE]WMx2[/STRIKE] - just need to hang it all out when I've had my shower and got dressed ;)
    - HHI (3 shirts, 1 blouse, 2 pairs of trousers and a tea towel :p) while DH is out this evening and I can watch TV at the same time
    - Empty / clean filter and set a hot wash on WM and DW
    - [STRIKE]Clear kitchen worktops[/STRIKE] and wipe down.
    - Wipe out the fridge and stick any grot in the compost / bin.
    - Shine your sink
    - Check finances
    - Have 10min checking over your calendar for the next week or so - need to write in work sessions, and then stick to them! I've got 3 books to read, with notes to make and comments to prepare, as well as several frogs to eat [gulp]
    - Sort out birthday cards and presents up to the end of September (some already bought)
    - Eat a frog - check and update 4 more resource boxes
    - Count some blessings
    - definitely :)

Better get moving, then! Catch up later. Hope everyone has a good day. (((Hugs))), spoons and sticks all round, as needed x
  • Good morning flyfriends x

Thanks to Bossy and Natty for the threads.

Piggers great to see you back I've missed you heaps, it's not the same without you x

    CY How you doing honey?

I'm in sort of this week. With working my notice at one place and working New place I've very little time off. Managed to get 3 baskets of washing put away on Saturday that have been in my room since the start of the holidays and give the place a general tidy up.

Working at 12 so I better get a shoogle on, need to nip to the shop for milk and nicotine first so I better get dressed.

Thank you for the lists - last week and this weeks.

Managed 3 out of 5 days last week, so feeling as if I am going in the right direction. Friday was spent sorting out the garden so I think that was put to good use. Thursday we won't speak about as not a good day.

However start of a new week:T

So as DD has friends over today, I have decided to do my own thing incorporating the list:

Monday Mayhem: A bit of everything!
    Level 1
[STRIKE]Open the windows and let some air in.[/STRIKE]
Starting upstairs, work your way through the house with that feather duster (or whatever you have). [STRIKE]Dust and deweb, as far through as you like / need.[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]S&S a sink or two.[/STRIKE]
    Level 2
[STRIKE]Follow your dust trail with the vacuum cleaner,[/STRIKE] only lift it upstairs if it's safe to do so.
    [STRIKE]S&S a toilet[/STRIKE] or two.
[STRIKE]Empty / clean filter and set a hot wash on WM[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]and/or DW (do you need salt? I think my DW needs a top up)[/STRIKE]
    Level 3
[STRIKE]Clear kitchen worktops and wipe down.[/STRIKE]
Wipe out the fridge and stick any grot in the compost / bin.
    [STRIKE]Shine your sink[/STRIKE]
    Extras:
Have 10min checking over your calendar for the next week or so.
Pay any bills or make any phone calls you need to.
    Eat a frog
[STRIKE]Count some blessings[/STRIKE] I Love my life with all its faults!
Look at what you've achieved today already:T
    WM emptied and filled
    Drawer of WM washed out
    DW on
Upcycle item sanded ready for next coat, now completed and waxed - very pleased indeed!

Let's hope it is a good one - Happy Monday (ooo that would be a good name for a band :rotfl:)

I'm in this week hopefully. Thanks for the list Bossy

Today I'm trying to get all the laundry done, first load of school uniform is in the machine now, and I have one more then its just normal weekly laundry which appears to be breeding faster than I can clear it! I want it all washed, ironed and put away before tea time. Then I have a stack of things I need to cook before they go off, a freezer to juggle to fit stuff in, baking if there's room still in the freezer and I need to make a meal plan to use up stuff rather than go grocery shopping again. I've a doctors appointment on Wednesday followed by errands then I'm getting stuck into the decorating so I have to have everything done by then. I started this decorating last summer and I've still only partly done one room! :o

Off to do my computer dailies then on with the freezer juggling!
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • Morning everyone - thanks for the threads Natty and Bossy.

Hi Pigpen - glad to see you posting.

I need to shift off this laptop as had brill news last night - DS and DSGF and DSGF puppy may be coming to visit us for the Bank Holiday!!!! I don't know where to start.

Spent the weekend sorting my wardrobe and clearing out clothes that aren't in my colour/ style range and trying to find a few more that are - not easy!!

    Hello!

Just taking a quick lunch break to check no-one is slacking off ;)
(Except CY you are under orders to slack off :))

Welcome home, pigpen grab a coffee and feel free to rant at us, we've all missed your musings xxx

Birthday wishes to flykids, flydads and anyone else celebrating.
Calming vibes to those awaiting exam results.

WFH here and all is peaceful as granny has taken kiddies out. Hope they changed plans as were meeting friends at a park but there's been some quite sharp showers this morning. They might have gone to the butterfly house instead.

All I've done house-wise is empty the DW and put the garden bin away :o

I'll get the dusting stick and vac out this afternoon when I have my next "tea break" lol.
