  • I'm in again this week, thanks for the lists this and last week ladies.

:hello::hello::hello:Great to 'see' you Pigpen, glad you're posting :p

Like the idea of a mix n match day to start off the week. Got a bit of a head start with the living/dining rooms at the weekend. Just need to focus on upstairs this week (and make sure living/dining rooms don't slip back!)

Monday Mayhem: A bit of everything!
    Level 1

Open the windows and let some air in.
Starting upstairs, work your way through the house with that feather duster (or whatever you have). Dust and deweb, as far through as you like / need.
    S&S a sink or two.
    Level 2
Follow your dust trail with the vacuum cleaner, only lift it upstairs if it's safe to do so.
    S&S a toilet or two.
    Level 3
Clear kitchen worktops and wipe down.
    Extras:
    • Have 10min checking over your calendar for the next week or so.
    • Eat a frog
    • Count some blessings
Well, frog for today will be creating my Toots list...I still haven't done that!!
Hugs and spoons to those that need them. Let's have a good week guys (and other cheesy sayings...) xxx

Empty / clean filter and set a hot wash on WM and/or DW (do you need salt? I think my DW needs a top up)
    Level 3
Clear kitchen worktops and wipe down.
Wipe out the fridge and stick any grot in the compost / bin.
    Shine your sink
    Extras:

Pay any bills or make any phone calls you need to.

I am in and started - thanks all. Last week was a disaster :( Life just totally went to pot so will need to do more this week to try and get back on track.

Hope everyone is well - love and spoons to all that need them.

Just checking what's left on my list:

    -
    - Empty / clean filter and set a hot wash on DW
    - Eat a frog - check and update 4 more resource boxes
    - HHI (1 shirt, 1 blouse, 2 pairs of trousers and a tea towel :p) while DH is out this evening and I can watch TV at the same time
    - Count some (more) blessings
    .

Looks like DW next, and then my frog :D
  • Quick update - have
cleaned al the inside upstairs windows
wiped some strange marks off the walls.
did the feather duster thingy upstairs.
Re-organised some stuff out of the bedrooms to elsewhere so I can clean more easily.
unloaded the dishwasher and t dryer

Think I'll go to get some bin bags so some stuff can be put into the loft for safe keeping. It is lovely here so think I need to top up the vit D levels.

    Good to see you piggers!

I have finally balanced my Scout accounts! I'd already spent hours on them but they wouldn't balance so I left them but they'd got to be done by the time I got back from holiday so I brought them with me and its taken me all day today to find the problem!

Ooh bling bling, is that from the kitty? ;)

Is it a "special" ring? Very pretty either way!

Heyyyy! Piggers *high-five* Good to "see" you. I can offer the services of a Dark Elf thief/mage named Pe'Gisu (you have to read it out loud) who is very handy with fireballs and a shortsword, if that'd help (yeah, we're re-playing Oblivion).
It doesn't help we are in the area that is having to boil water for food prep, drinking, washing up etc etc - since Thursday - but we didn't find out until Friday! - and it is due to go on until tomorrow at least. You don't appreciate what you have got until it's no longer there.
Ah, jttou is channelling Joni Mitchell, methinks.

Ooh get me! I'm even following my own list! I've dusted and vacced right through, including the stairs!

That's all though- well, a little picking up of tat here and there and some clothes put away.

I've called the school uniform shop to check on my order and booked us in at the dentist- next available appointment was 23 Sept

Need to pop out tomorrow- can you believe out of all the various cables I have, I don't have one that will connect my laptop to a monitor... Also need birthday cards...

  • Thank you for the list bossymoo.

I used to join you a couple of years ago but 2 house moves later it's time to come back. We've only been in this house for a couple of weeks so still finding some order but a good time to start to establish a new routine.
