Yesterday was a bit of a write off. Did a quick tidy up before I went to work. Came home from work made dinner, washed up, bossed DS2 into tidying up his bedroom, tidied the LR again and run the hoover round. After that I collapsed in a heap.

Off to start the washing that has came out of DS2 room.

Afternoon all - goodness, where has my morning gone?!?

Been very busy. Kitchen blitzed, just need to sweep and mop floor. Two drawers sorted (get me  ) and a lamb tagine prepared for dinner this evening. Lots of washing and drying done. Dining room clean and clear - again just floor to hoover but currently chilling with a cuppa.

Asda delivery due by 2pm, after which I'm hoping Tiny will want a skip. If he does, I might get a sneaky HHI in.

Need to go to the Post Office but I think I'll leave that until tomorrow when I'm out and about.

    Morning all

will catch up with the thread shortly.

DECORATING DONE (another summer frog/Toots job!)

we haven't done around the window because I hope to have a new one fitted (before Christmas) but, as the rest of the room is done that will be a quicker job. And because it didn't have a repeat we got 4 lengths out of each roll so I am taking 2 back.

I have also had a rethink about a small window which doesn't ever need to be opened so I won't have an opening window there.

I'm just slurping a :coffee: then ironing (DD needs work stuff) then I will clean the lounge.rn

  • Hi all - I'm with Mrs P on that - OMG that is so beautiful Pigpen - and congratulations must therefore be in order. Woo hoo!!!

HAd a busy morning so came home scoffed naughty lunch - usual post weigh in treat and promptly dozed off! Lost 1.5 lb so v pleased.

Been getting stressed as new neighbours have had a very smoky fire in their back garden for two whole days. I was up at 3 am and it was still burning - and no-one around - and still going at 7.30 am. Hopefully it is finished as I haven't been able to open the windows for two days, sit out or hang out any washing!!

Just going to get changed and wash insides of all downstairs windows and try and tidy up a little more. Water boiling is still in place but getting used to it now. I actually prefer cleaning my teeth in very cold water as straight from the fridge! HAve done some more tidying upstairs so ready to rock and roll with the cleaning there.

    Take care. x

    Congratulations piggers how exciting!

Not a lot achieved here yet but I have refilled DW salt thingy and set it on a hot wash with some soda crystals.

Kiddies just gone out swimming, and I'm having a nice peaceful week of working from home - amazing how much of my work I can get done with fewer distractions of other people's work...

Waiting for swim stuff before I do any more washing, and granny has kept of top of feeding and cleaning up after the littlies.

Right, back to paid stuff for moi!

    Hi all

Back from paid stuff, just got changed and put another load of washing in. Offered to take the kids out somewhere but they are happy having an afternoon at home so I am going to wash and hoover the car then get on with the kitchen. Then the dog needs walking and DS is at footie training later so its all go here.
