I think we should all make (or at least decorate) our own hats and have a photo parade for the hen party
  • Hi everyone,

Just discovered it is nearly impossible to kondo fold princess dresses. Oh well, the dressing up drawer looks much better for a clear out. Done well with my list, just need to give the kitchen floor a sweep. I have also munched large frog in the form of making a small curtain for one of my kitchen units. I've been putting it off for ages. This sounds feeble but I have no skill in the sewing/knitting/crafting department. The last time I tried something I shortened a long pair curtains for the children's room and there was a two inch gap at the bottom when I put them up. Well between two and three inches, the hem wasn't straight either. Anyone who could, for example, knit a wedding dress, I think deserves an award of some sort.:)

    Gorgeous dress Piggers!

CY - that is awesome news about DD1 - she is doing so well!

Been on the beach this afternoon - not the one I normally go to and this one has a NT car park attached to it so it cost me £4 to park - I wasn't impressed!

Evening flyladies. Congrats Piggers, glad today has seen better news for CY.

Things carrying over from my list for today:
    Plant seeds
    Make soup
    Actually look at list

I had a great day, played in the children's playground (sensibly of course), did a 5 mile walk, even got some of the ironing done. And DH took me out for a lovely meal tonight.

    Other jobs for tomorrow:
    Clean front door

    See you in the morning
Spend less now, work less later.

Mmmmm. Am I the only one worried about the flowergirls? Are we all being ushers? I have a hat at the ready.

Minimal flying today. DH exhausted so went off to bed at 1800 after a very early dinner, good excuse for not doing the hoovering I was supposed to!

Kitchen clear, but I can't see the dining room table under DH's work. Don't think I'll see it before I go away on Saturday. I'm off to London to see family for the first time in 18months. DH is off to Florida. Something wrong there. Same in November - he's off cave diving while I stay here. He is making up for it by joining me in Bonaire afterwards. Diving for me (29 degrees in the water - beats the 13 degrees in Loch Long on Sunday:rotfl:)

CY Glad to hear you are improving, and wonderful about DD.

Oooh. Forgot to say I have ordered new covers for sofa and chair. Seem to have been spending a lot of money since giving up drinking as I plough through at least 5 years worth of neglect. Note to self - start looking for a part time job once I have a licence back. Roll on October.
