Tuesday Tantrums: Kitchen & Dining Room
    Level 1

Wipe down the cupboard fronts, including kickboards, and get those door handles hygienically clean!
    Wipe down your large appliances.
    Level 2
Clear a hotspot, i[STRIKE]s anything breeding on top of your cupboards or fridge freezer (is it just me that has 6 varieties of breakfast cereal?)[/STRIKE] Kitchen has full height cupboard so no 'on tops'
Give your DR table a polish and change the tablecloth if needed.
    Wipe down the chairs too.
    Level 3
To the cooker - give the hob a good shine!
And the oven too, if you've any steam left!
    Extras:
    • Make a promise to yourself- I'm going to try get more sleep this week.
    • Mop a floor or two.
    • Empty a drawer and wipe it out.
    • Have a clear out and only replace in the drawer what needs to stay.

So here is my list for today because that's how I roll!

Have pegged out 2 loads; nothing to iron until they are dry because I ironed last night

    I will also
    • put ironing away
    • put decorating cloths away
    • clean out Benny Bunny
    • sweep up where I weeded yesterday
    • pick up DD at 3
    • take DD back to work for 6
    • Pick up DS at 6

Just taken them both to work (DD is on a split) and had to change route en route TWICE; firstly because the bin lorry was taking up the road, then because a builders lorry was blocking another road reversing/delivering!

    DW emptied.

Just back from the cinema. First time for ds2 (3 1/2) and he sat beautifully until the the last ten minutes when he got a bit fidgety! We are all full of popcorn a and sweets so a late lunch is needed!

Did some jobs before we went, it's so lovely to come back to a tidy kitchen!

    Updating list now...

Follow your dust trail with the vacuum cleaner, only lift it upstairs if it's safe to do so.

    Afternoon flyladies.

All dailies done here, soup made (and some eaten) and I've been swimming for the first time in years.

Next up is cleaning the front door, I've then got some sewing to do, but after that I'm torn between looking at the list or just sitting out in the sunshine with a book.

    Catch you all later.

Ah, sit out Jazee :) enjoy the sunshine while it's here!

Still working here so only put a couple of washes out to dry. Still reasonably tidy from earlier activity in the week, and kiddies are at school club so not making a mess ;):p

    I too, am off-list...

Starting off in the living room, but somehow progressed to emailing various people and businesses, some of which I should have done ages ago. Deleted at least 50 million junk emails (OK, a SLIGHT exaggeration) then spent about an hour ironing. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel with that now.

Sitting on my patio in the glorious sunshine and have given up trying to stop Tiny eating molehills...he obviously thinks they're tasty

Garden looks like something out of Steptoe and Son, so I might make a bit of an effort before the quacks at 5pm. Trouble is I know nothing about gardening. Hmmm...

Yesterday I only managed to do SW and the shopping because I was so tired.
Oh,and I also sorted out two resource boxes (part of my summer challenge) :)

Just updating my list for today. If it's gone, it's done:

Hoover all through downstairs, inc sofas - DH has offered to do this but shows no signs of doing so!
    Steam mop hard floors
    Polish mirrors
    Post 2 birthday cards
Prepare starter and dessert for tonight's meal
    Prepare veg
Lay table – don’t forget drinks

Not doing too badly :) Will now try to prise DH out of his chair...

Scratch that - I'm burning. Inside I go...I'll deal with something from my "shizzle" box (I think you call it gibble on this thread?)...

    Hi all

All peaceful here - at the moment anyway. DS is watching telly so I dont want to start hoovering in there, might go in with the duster though.

Just got my finance spreadsheets up to date, washing and ironing is all done and put away. I should really clean some windows outside but there are loads of thunderbugs out there! Its a bit too warm to walk the dog too .. do I sound like I am making excuses??

Mmm, might finish my brew with a few pages from my book first.

Have pegged out 4 loads of washing. Then ds1 came home from work with a bag of wet clothes. A child had hose piped him. More washing done.

Have been to the post office to post the pixies' presents (our nephews)
Ds2 refused to get in the car on the way back as there was a tiny spider on the outside. We eventually got home.

1 more sleep to ds1's exam results :eek
