Thanks LilElvis, but those aren't purple (and not Ecco, I don't think).
Also, they're toe post so not ideal for trekking (not on my feet, at least).
I have googlerd purple ecco sandals but those exact ones aren't coming up.
Looking at the photo by onlyroz, I think they might be Ecco Offroad Lite but I can't find any purple ones. They're not on the Ecco website.
I have 4 or 5 pair of trekking sandals (Karrimor, Teva, Nike) but I really fancied the purple ones.
They're Ecco Urban Safari, from a previous seasonthe kids' ones aren't quite the same style, I would have bought them if they were as I only take a size 3
(If you find some lemme know please?)

This advice always seems written for people with totally different lifestyles . Eg, two or three weeks ago found in rates and I went through his shirts and got rid of a whole lot of them. Something we did not get rid of are any of the four evening shirts, he has not worn more than one or two in a week since December I think, but the four are still necessary, despite it being more than six months ago, because in the peak times they are needed, they cannot be turned round quickly enough, and certainly not if he is in a hotel or just returning from one on a business trip arriving in uk to his work week address, or travelling from home to an event. There are times when four don't seem enough, but mainly in December.
Similarly, I have dresses I haven't worn for a while, but in think are still lovely and stylish enough to still wear. While its not my lifestyle ATM I have not lost hope it might me again, so I keep them, because one day I hope to need more evening dresses than he needs evening shirts..
Similarly sports specific clothing etc, some is pretty hard to replace, to sell/ give away and replace would be fool hardy, even if its only used occasionally. Some things ( like riding hats) are illegal to sell second hand, for good reason, and don't comply with rules to compete under, but are as safe as they were ( if appropriately stored and not dropped etc) when last worn, so I'm not getting rid of mine though I haven't needed it for a few years, not unless it gets dropped, when it can go. Same with things like breeches...they don't need to be in the wardrobe of course, but, why bin them/ get rid of them when I live in hope I'll need them again one day! It would be silly, IMO, to let go of hundreds ( if not more) worth of clothing when it IS still wanted if there IS room to keep it and store it well. Some of my favourite clothes as a teen were vintage clothes from older female relatives, beautifully made things. Thank goodness they kept things!0 -
Bigglesgirl, I think it was you who asked, no I don't have any skirts tops or trousers, just the clothes I listed.Chin up, Titus out.0

However, they are extremely comfortable and will last forever (hubby is still wearing the pair he bought about 13 years ago, and I would still be wearing mine had I not misplaced them).

That's just made things worse, onlyroz,
becuase they don't have my size (35) but hearbreak star may be interested in the 2nd link.
OK, now I'll apologise for taking this thread so far off topic (but I do so love shoes).kazzamoran wrote: »Most people wear 20% of their clothes 80% of the time apparently. I've recently bought a pair of anatomic trainers in peach, black & white from M&S (sale £8 from £29.50) & knew I had a black top with peach trim.
I've not worn it for at least 18 months so if I'd gone by the advice abvoe it would be long gone & I would be  when I wanted to wear it.0 -
Absolutely not!
If we want a cuppa in the morning, we buy it.
Actually, we usually have a couple of glasses of water in the morning along with some fruit.
TBH, tea/coffee is not something we miss, we only have a couple of cups per day anyway.
But you shop for washpowder (or take your own = weight in a suitcase), load the machine, take it out, hang it to dry, iron it.
Why would I (and I'm just speaking personally) bother with all that when I have enough clothes and enough weight allowance to be able to take sufficiant clothes on holiday without needing to spend my precious holiday time washing stuff through?
I love my travel kettle, we always get up really early on holiday, and have a cup of tea/coffee when we wake up. I don't own any shoes at all, just two pairs of sandals,1 trainers, 1 wellies, 2 pairs of boots, the only shoes i bought were second hand for my wedding, then got rid of. I take less clothes than my husband on holiday, but i like to take a big case to bring souvenirs/presents back. I will wash bathers and underwear through and hang them out on holiday, but thats it.0 -
This seller hasn't got the right size, but worth having a Google / other eBay search. These are a bargain for the brand, all leather and very comfortable. I've also got small feet!

You've taken (either by mistake or deliberately) LilElvis's post totally out of context. LilElvis was replying to my post here:Where? Where? :kisses3:
I have small feet and often wear kids size shoes.
I want (or maybe even need) those purple sandals.
by helpfully posting a link to a similar pair of sandals which have created a fair amount of discussion (owned by onlyroz). This seller hasn't got the right size, but worth having a Google / other eBay search. I'm pretty sure that LilElvis didn't say she owned a pair of sandals like this - let alone that she wears them with Armani knickers.0 -

Your absolutely right, I've taken it out of context. Deliberately.
Just as she decided to do the same, when I was answering the OP's wardrobe question - with some insight into my quality/value way of organising my wardrobe.
She went all guns blazing, calling me pompous and a bragger, and then assaulted me with "my knickers are worth more than your shirts"; When in reality I only came here to tell the OP that there was nothing wrong with owning less clothing as long as it lasted you a while.
I guess your response just shows that its not nice calling people names, and jumping to conclusions. Would have thought LilElvis knew that already, seeing as she posts quite often on here. Clearly not.0
