I thought the Mustang seemed very good value for money, Ali.My wife is having a Jaguar XE as her company car which costs around the same amount of money for 180bhp. Pity she's not allowed the Mustang.

Hi Ali,
I have been lurking for a while but am trying to be more actively involved on threads. I'm considering starting a diary in a while, but will see! We are currently saving a deposit for our first house but a large enough one that we can have a good loan to value to start with and get straight on with overpaying. I just wanted to say that I have followed your diary and find you an inspiration. You are so organised and meticulous and seem to have really clear goals set out for yourself. Thank you :-)0 -
Sounds like an excellent trip over the Easter holiday planned.2018 totals:

Thanks Anavand for your kind words and welcome to the boards  Having a diary helps to keep focus and motivated I find - well worth starting one. You're making the best start possible as well - good luck with the deposit saving - have you got a target or timescale in mind?
Alex - I told DS when he got home from school 'Awesome' he replied and 'must Skype xxxx from school to tell him'. It's gone down well and he's been playing the soundtrack at full volume all evening!
