I thought the Mustang seemed very good value for money, Ali. :) My wife is having a Jaguar XE as her company car which costs around the same amount of money for 180bhp. Pity she's not allowed the Mustang. :(

Thanks MG. Still haven't ordered the replacement TD though :o

Had pretty much decided on £1,000 capital payment for April when the architect emails me...tech drawings should be ready to submit to Building Regs next week which means 1) architect bill, 2) fee for BR and 3) engineer bill are all on their way. Will have to revise.

Money has apparently entered my star sign - seems it's all going out rather than coming in though :rotfl:

New council tax bill received and budget spreadsheets updated.

Latest credit report update in from Noddle and checked

Signed paperwork for increased pension contributions to different funds - starts next month

    Paid myself back expenses

Treated DS and I to War of the Worlds tickets - £69 each down to £30 with a threatrelist email code - going to the matinee over Easter hols at the Dominion in London :j We'll make a day of it, get off peak train tickets and maybe get to one of the free museums as well.

My version of overtime tomorrow - half a day on client site. Bonus :)

    Hi Ali,
I have been lurking for a while but am trying to be more actively involved on threads. I'm considering starting a diary in a while, but will see! We are currently saving a deposit for our first house but a large enough one that we can have a good loan to value to start with and get straight on with overpaying. I just wanted to say that I have followed your diary and find you an inspiration. You are so organised and meticulous and seem to have really clear goals set out for yourself. Thank you :-)

Thanks Anavand for your kind words and welcome to the boards  Having a diary helps to keep focus and motivated I find - well worth starting one. You're making the best start possible as well - good luck with the deposit saving - have you got a target or timescale in mind?

Alex - I told DS when he got home from school 'Awesome' he replied and 'must Skype xxxx from school to tell him'. It's gone down well and he's been playing the soundtrack at full volume all evening!

Another P!necone survey done and £3 to the cause :)

Ooh MSE Badger visited and gave me a 10 Year Anniversary badge..where have the years gone!
