AFK - it comes in fits and starts on PC. 1 a month is what they claim to be average. Maybe you'll get a good run of them soon :)

Alex, sorry to hear things aren't so good for you, but great plan for LittleK to go to your cousins for a few days, nothing to feel bad about there. :)

Easter Egg hunt sounds alot of fun, just make sure the dog doesn't sniff them out first :D

Our Easter plans are a bit of a mixed bag - I've found an office to take on (third time lucky!) and getting the keys this Thursday...so will try and move stuff in over the Easter weekend. Tuesday Ideal Home Show, Wednesday a bit of work I need to do, Thursday theatre and Friday off. DS is doing his own thing mostly now anyway :)

Glad to hear you've found another office. :D

My son will probably have a better time at my cousin's than with his miserable father over Easter. Wife only has Good Friday and Easter Monday off work. Hopefully she'll want to do the egg hunt.

Noted re. dogs. Will likely have the hunt at my parents'.
    2018 totals:
    Savings £11,200
    Mortgage Overpayments £5,500

Me too - glad I've waited though as think this one is just right :)

Big difference between miserable and unwell - we know you mean the latter ;) Hang on in there and hopefully the black clouds will pass :)

Been a busy few days. Sunday spent getting caught up at home and then back into the throws of work and preparing for year end.

Tomato plant seedlings are coming through nicely :j Need to start potting those so splashed out £1.99 on pots last night. So excited..can see huge batches of sauce being made and frozen (subject to the plants growing/bearing fruit) as didn't think to only sow a few seeds rather than the whole packet :rotfl:

    On the financials:
    - bank accounts being checked
    - FPL and LP being checked
    - Another P!necone survey in and done tonight for £3
    - Inbox £s a bit neglected but plodding on and up at £4.52
    - Qmee still sat at 63p

Only 7 sleeps to MOP day and I'm back to the plan of OPing the difference between old and new required amount so payment for £820 (£120 OP) is set up. Savings climbing back up nicely and the overall picture looking in good shape. :)

You're doing better than me AFK, I've been with them for about 3 years now and they seem to have stopped sending me them. I haven't had any this year. :(

Hi Ali, I've tried every way to be accepted by phone! I will not give up.

Where are you up to with building works now? Its just a shame that progressing with things incurs big bills!

    Happy (Belated) Easter :easter_ba

Not enough hours in the day recently, I over-committed myself with delivering work last week which meant a couple of long days, but all done in the end.

Food shop was Thursday night with a spend of £27.94.

Got the keys to my new office :j DIY mate and I have been busy getting that ready and set up - will finish that off tomorrow.

MOP day is 29th due to Easter Monday and I've not finalised my capital payment due to business expenses affecting how much I'll pay myself this month. Must decide tomorrow!

Extension update - had the first detailed plans through from architect and immediately picked up a measurement issue which prompted me to physically check them. One is minor, one is major and affects the external finished alignment and will need to go back before Planning for a material amendment  Wasn't obvious from PP plans but the external wall is not going to sit where she thought in relation to the ground floor (and particularly window positions) as she's increased the ground floor width somehow. Glad I've still got the plans I did in Excel and gave her originally as these have the correct measurements and she's made up her own it would seem!

Quite annoyed as pretty sure I'll need new beam calcs too so can see some robust discussions taking place due to the potential cost implications.

Having pain and balance problems due to the dodgy neck disc and subsequently my back and a visual migraine or two plus the ensuing sleep issues - can see me ending up at the GPs soon as nothing is helping it :(

Hopefully get back on an even keel as the week pans out.

    Hope everyone's had a good Easter. :)
