    Accounts interest in today - £12.49 + £1.87 + £6.22 = £20.58

    Qmee up at 25p
    Inbox £s up at £2.96
P!necone preliminary in and done, hoping for a nice paid one soon
    FPL & LP checked

    TT's - 65p yesterday, 25p today

Weather has turned bitterly cold and I'm tempted to stay in tonight rather than do a food shop, but we're low on milk and I might as well do that rather than pay more at the local corner shop.

Meal plan first to work out exactly what's needed :)

First food shop of the month came in at £24.67 with a few extras for the freezer (chicken and duck) on offer added.

    Meal plan looks like:

    Spag bol
    Somerset pork casserole and veg
    Chilli, rice and garlic bread
    Roast lamb and trimmings
LO lamb in casserole with veg
Fish in breadcrumbs, wedges and beans
Toad in the Hole, mash and veg

Only had to buy the pork steaks, all the other main items are from freezer stocks. Lamb joint needs using up as a pre-Christmas purchase.

    Friday at last!

    TT's - yesterday 36p, today 13p.

Car insurance renewal arrived and was actually the lowest by 30 pence! Phoned them and got a couple more £s off - so £197.98..still a shocking £60 more than last year but best I can get with zero change to details, policy or car (except depreciation and another year older!) and comparing best via cashback too.

All of DS's new account info has arrived for H$BC so his savings are on the move tomorrow.

I think I'm going to switch an old but still used bank account where the interest is dropping in May, just weighing up the lesser H@lifax cash vs. the M&S higher gift card value - cash more useful I think :) but also looks like the T3sco 3% current account doesn't need DDs so that could be a good home for parking money. Guess I need to leave a few months space between opening accounts too.

    Decisions, decisions!

Car is all sorted for final payment and taking on the 3.8% loan whilst my money works a bit harder elsewhere, so interest from other accounts will go to the loan which has unlimited OPs to minimise the cost of borrowing.

    Other financials:
    - bank accounts checked - interest on mortgage for March not updated as yet , but outstanding capital showing correctly :)
    - Inbox £s - only up at £3.07
    - Qmee - still at 25p

    Ooh visitors..have to go :)

Game on to the £99s :D Think you'll beat me, infact I like the £109s so much I suspect I'll still be in them next month!

Interest for March now known - £237.39 - I correctly predicted it too!

    Interest Dec 13 monthly - £410.34
    Last month - £239.19
    This month - £237.39, down £1.80

    Interest Dec 13 daily - £13.44
    Last month - £7.87
    This month - £7.81

Cumulative interest reduction is now at £172.95 per month :D

    Split

    £92,225 - £199.05 monthly, £6.55 daily
    £17,735 - £38.34 monthly, £1.26 daily

Would be good to get monthly down by £2 p/m (needs £900 capital next month) and the daily under £1 a day for the small mortgage part - 4 months away approx. More mini goals to aim for :)

There is only one flower up at the mo, I haven't a scooby what they are and who knows what the others bulbs were that I planted.

I plan on staying in the £107's for a couple of months as well!
