Our electric fix is up in May, so will have a look and see if dual or separate is cheaper this time and do them then.

Another batch of soup made yesterday, keeping me going for lunches this week and using up some of the other veg too. Mostly eaten batch foods from the freezer for evening meals as well, so food shop is looking like another low spend.
I've the re-arranged dental check up tonight, whilst DS is bringing a friend back from school and an extra for dinner.
More garden prep done and started a garage sort out - will be moving the shelving units into the 'she-shed' soon. Patio brushed and ready for pressure washer action

She-Shed plans on hold for today, as forgot we are at the local theatre this afternoon!! With lunch out first, could be quite a costly time
TT'd 81p - pot at £7.67
Ald! food shop done first thing - spend of £25.25, not before I'd helped an old gent up who fell over crossing the road infront of me whilst I was driving. Thankfully I was going pretty slow and able to stop. He is ok too, told me he was 84 and that his legs often give wayHe was going home from the paper shop, so gave him a lift and returned him to his wife, who promptly told him off for not taking his walking stick :rotfl:
All the little jobs done around the house, the usual bins, dishwasher on, washing, washing up etc, so nearly ready for being picked up at midday.
Must do electricity reading and submit by close of Monday.
Spreadsheet fiddling like mad to make a decision on amount going to mortgage. That takes up more time than anything else :rotfl:

Oh DFOD, Ald! have got all the garden growing stuff in...was so tempted I must admit - electric propogater, plastic greenhouse thing, seed trays...the works....I just wonder if I've got the time to commit to it and if I'd actually manage to get something to grow :rotfl:
I did add a 79p sieve to my shopping, will help get rid of some of the larger stones I keep finding in our soil.Back on the DFW Wagon:

What a lovely thing to do when you helped the gentleman. Our elderly population are often vulnerable yet proud so I am glad he accepted your help.
I look at gardening stuff every year wondering if I will improve on the year before! We have just one raised bed but the one I gave to my mum remains unused so may retrieve it.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
