I only do the Peanuts Lab surveys as you're screened in or out on the first question usually and allowed up to 5 a day. The rest I don't bother with.

Has taken me 6 months this time! Keep saying not sure I'll bother after hitting payout, but the £1 start up and having to stay active until cheque processed...I figure a few searches and clicks is seconds work and it's free money even if only £40 a year.

TT of 88p this morning = £3.72 in holding.

MOP Day will be the 29th this month, really dislike losing a day's benefit of lower interest, that 6p could have gone towards capital.

    You can tell it's Monday!

I've just booked some client facing billable work for the 29th, so maybe I shouldn't complain as it's an extra day I can earn much more than the 6p I'll lose out on :rotfl:

Been a very productive day so far:
    - whizzed through tons of work stuff
    - ordered Mother's Day flowers
    - took shoes to charity recycling bin
    - collected pressure washer. Is it wrong to be excited by the prospect of using manly gadgets?!
    - sorted H$BC address verification for DS's new account - lost paperwork, now re-done between branch and HQ
    - moved car service date as realise I have a clash of commitments
    - written a list of jobs to do over Easter (mostly for DIYer to do :D)

Stuck on one gift for ex-FIL for next month, looking more like an Am@zon gift card.

Eaten more of the soup with a roll for lunch.

No word from architect or invoice from the Structural Engineer...month end has to be fave for that bill landing.

Back to it now...long lunch break over!

Pressure washing most exciting. I love ours!
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

:D I can't wait to use it, already got it out the box and ready to go :j

Tonight I've been comparing car insurance (via Qu!dco) and the prices are @ £60 more than last year  Even with cashback, best I seem to be looking at is a £40 increase. Awaiting current insurer's renewal price which was through my bank who aren't on the comparison sites - £137.80 last year. Probably end of next week for knowing more there.

And now it's onto gas price comparisons, see if I can reduce that :)

:rotfl: Re. the 6p extra interest, only you Ali. ;)

As for buying EX father-in-law a gift :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:, if Mrs K didn't do it, I wouldn't buy one for mine. You're far too generous.

Car insurance, is it worth ringing some brokers (I always find mine cheaper)? :)
    2018 totals:
    Savings £11,200
    Mortgage Overpayments £5,500

I say Ex-FIL, it's DS's grandfather so it's a more a gift from DS than me, but out of my pocket.

Good point on broker, might look at that route.

Another whole £1 TT'd this morning = £4.72 in the pot.

    Inbox £s - up at £1.14
    Qmee pot up at 89p

    Work beckons!
