DFOD we just had rain and this morning it's drying up nicely with some lovely sunshine. I've a few outdoor jobs to do in the front and back garden so aim is to get those done today.

Structural calcs are in :j - all 34 pages of them! All double-dutch to me, so off to the architect they've gone for her input/comment, though the picture is pretty :rotfl:

Another P!necone survey has arrived for £3 too (probably the product review).

I keep gravitating towards OPs being the old required mortgage amount plus £2 to wrap the saved interest, plus a round up depending on what mini-milestone I can achieve (£140-£150 OP). Brings MF date to November 2025, so 22 months early. I can live with that and improve it further along the way :)

That's leaving a good amount monthly to save/re-fill the EF/extend. Let's see how that plan goes :)
    Back on the DFW Wagon:

    CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
    CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
    Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/18
  • Take it as it comes with the o/p, sometimes the way I look at it is, if its not in my bank account, then its in my mortgage account and vice versa, just depends on how comfortable I feel regarding the balances :)

And another step forward to your extension - all exciting stuff :j Enjoy your tidying up in the garden, I done that a couple of days ago :D in the sunshine,
Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's

That's great news and better than my efforts :o

Some snowdrops made an appearance, the crocuses are nowhere to be seen and the daffs are as expected...plant 20, 10 come up, 5 flower :rotfl: I lie...just counted, 7 have flowered - I'm improving slowly :rotfl:

I've cut down the feather shrub thing (pink pampass grass) as the high winds had broken alot of those :( and weeded yet again! The hanging pansies are looking a bit sorry for themselves still so hopefully perked those up with a bit of food and water.

In for a snacky lunch, and contemplating hoovering the artificial grass, or at least brushing it.

Need to do the food shop this evening, just waiting on DS to find out from his friend what they want to take tomorrow for cinema snacks and will add those to the list.

AFK - I need to take a leaf out of your book and a great way to look at it too. I have done a net worth spreadsheet and was pleasantly surprised, as well as found the original mortgage figures for when I bought this house - was £144k at 4.99%.

  • Yuk to the dog stuff, hope he's better.

It's layering bulbs on top of each other so you get a dense display :) I didn't try it as have enough trouble with the single depth ones I plant :rotfl: All credit to DFOD, bet it looks fab too.

Done the P!necone survey, £3 on its way.

Not done the food shop, might go first thing. So a nice NSD and most of it spent outdoors. Thought about cleaning the car but didn't - only 3 weeks until it's FOC wash and vac so more MSE to save water and wait :)

  • I must be honest the TT's have been great for my motivation. Averages about £20 per month from doing it daily, but is great motivation for logging in every morning.

:D Sounds like crocuses (at a guess)

Onboard! I've started with 84p moved this morning. First thing I do daily is log onto the bank account, with cuppa in hand, so an easy addition to routine :)

Hoovered grass yesterday and emptied pots of dead pansies, more weeds out of block paving  - they don't seem to have stopped growing this winter, guess it's been too warm.

Still not been food shopping as spring cleaned the dining room and moved everything around instead. DS's friend is here, so leaving them to it for the morning, only needed for cooking duty and taxi service later!

Started usual Friday chores early too - bins, towels, washing, etc. All this sunshine is going to my head :rotfl:
