Morning everyone. Well after yesterdays up really early and in supermarket by 8am. this morning at half 8 i'm still in dressing gown. but dw is empty , wm is on , beds are stripped.
gonna dash upstairs in a min and get dressed. as our new neighbours ( there council) are giving lots of prob's, noise , rubbish , music etc. and got told today that they are going to have housign officers visit them. so i want to be clothed incase anything kicks off. i have noticed they have made a start on clearing up all the rubbish in garden which is excellent. as i'm so worried about rats.
anyway was gonna make a bakewell tart but forgotten the almond essence so hoping my mum will pick me some up while she's in supermarket.
little bit cloudy here , looks like it could either brigten up or go other way and might rain. hope it stays bright as loads of washing to do.
Breeki ~ had marmite stacks
Lunch ~ not sure yet
Dinner ~ lamb and tomato rice .
Enjoy ur day everyone , COngrats to those who are celebrating , ((((hugs )))) to those who need them and good luck for anyone needing it.0 -

Well im up late again, didnt go to bed until late as once the water burst had been fixed ( at a cost of £18!!) i made a start on tidying up the mess, but dh has managed to break some fitting on the washing machine so cant wash all the towels iv used (and i mean all of them) to mop up the water burst until he gets out of bed and goes and gets a new fixing thing!!
Iv banned him from trying to mend anything else this week hes caused enough damage for one week!! Ill be glad when he goes back to work on monday!!LOL I love having him at home but he does get in my way!!
Right off to start the clear up ( i must stop moaning at him he is mad enough with hiself as the leak has caused water damage on the living room ceiling too!!)
Take care everyone

Morning all,
Well day started sunny, now clouding over. Do you think we'll ever have summer? Dragged myself up to move car to spot in front of house. Now really have to get on and pack it with carboot stuff b4 OH comes home.
Stayed up watching Elvis by the Presleys. I wasn't a fan growing up but it was fun watching this. Who'd have thought it was 30 yrs ago he died. Where did the time go?
20yr old cat just threw up - she's eaten biscuits again. Every time she eats the dry food she throws up. I wish she'd learn. Pkitty was asleep until that - now he's trying to find out what went on which isn't relaxing for her. Sigh....
Sorry to hear about Hoglet. Here's hoping other ones are safe.
Welcome back JackieO - glad to hear your spirits are still high!
Have a good day folks0 -
Lovely to hear from you JackieO so glad you're o.k and wish you a speedy recovery

Good morning everyone
Happy holidays to those jaunting off.
frogga fingers crossed for your DH but if he fails I would be ready to ask for a refund or a second week at no cost. 6 hours driving is just not enough. Kick up a fuss. As for taking the money - if you feel guilty taking it all, why not take half and agree with your friend which charity should get the other half? (Pretty much what Peem said.)
JackieO Great to see you back with us. Loved hearing about you causing havoc in the op room! :rotfl: Glad you are being well looked after.
TGIF!!! My boss may pop into the office today but I think it will be a quiet day regardless. Then I'm on holiday for 10 days. :j Looking forward to spending some quality time with DS and DD. I have missed them so much over the last two weeks.
Not much else happening so I'll wish you all a fabulous Friday and head off to work. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Good morning everyone,
JackieO - so lovely to see you posting again, and glad that things seem to be going well for you xxx
Frogga - hope DHs test goes well.
Nothing planned for today, yesterday DD and i watched the first 2 Harry Potter films, so im guessing today she would like to watch the next couple. Will be making HM pizza for dinner tonight, last week i made 2, and put a coating of baked beans on one of them (does anyone else remember Heinz pizzas?) DD doesnt like beans but DS does and he loved it, so might do that again tonight. Might also do some baking as we are getting low on cakes and biscuits (seem to be feeding the local kids at the moment as well as my own!!!).
OK, better get moving, still in my pjs, but thats what i love about having some time off, no mad rush to get ready!!!
Hope everyone has a lovely day,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
(((((( JackieO ))))))
It's great to hear from you, we have all been wondering how you were getting on. Glad to hear everything went OK, and at least you didn't squeeze his lovely bum
Your sense of humour under such difficult circumstances, is fantastic, and with your positive attitude, I'm sure you will soon be back to fighting fit.
xxxYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Dear Jackie! You really are quite something. xxx
Well, so much for our plans to go to the space museum yesterday. Instead, my 3 year old decided he fancied a trip to casualty. He swallowed a coin he managed to prize out of a toy he posted it in last year. All good - he got to be 'metal detected' and enjoyed it beeping when it got to his tummy!
We're going away for a few days to stay with a fellow OSer and her lovely family. I can't wait. May have time to pop in tomorrow but have decided to try to get some shopping and batch cooking done before I go along with some cleaning and try to keep the children entertained.
I hope I can send this before the cat hits the escape button again! xMay all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
Jackie, I'm so please everything went well, take care.

Good morning all! Glad to see JackieO was on her best form in the hossie - as we all expected - and that the OP went well.
Frogga, she can afford it - as long as that's not why you lost the weight, then you can take it with a clear conscience. THen do what you like with it - wish I had a friend that was so supportive!
Same old same old here. Have a good day, everyone!0
