Well I have not received any response from Medicanimal despite they giving me a 'case number' after my initial query and promise to get back to me within 48hrs.

I felt very nervous ordering from any on-line company after the experience but a colleague recommended Fetch. They are a pet food arm of Ocado and what's very good of them is that you can choose your 1h delivery slot. I placed an order on Wednesday and just got it delivered today 7.30pm on the dot. No delivery charge as order was over a certain amount. Very good service all around. I dont think they do medicines but for those looking to get pet food/accessories/etc definitely worth a look.

Hope that those of us who've lost money with Medicanimal will get refunds in due course.

I know quite a few people who've used them and the reviews seem to be a bit mixed tbh - either great or not ......

They also only deliver to certain areas - which I don't have a big issue with - but you have to register and create an account before you can check if they deliver to your area which is just ridiculous!

I ordered from Pet Drugs Online last night - I've used them before & they were good (quick delivery), very competitive prices, low free delivery amount for small items and they do sell meds
    Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
    2016 Sell: £125/£250
    £1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000
    Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
Debt free & determined to stay that way!

Just received this e-mail from Pet Supermarket:

Please accept our sincere apologies that we have not been able to communicate with you sooner. Our Company has undergone a change in ownership, during which time we were unfortunately asked to cease trading temporarily and were legally bound not to communicate with anyone. It has been hugely frustrating for us to not be allowed to communicate with our customers during this time and it has also been disappointing to see some opportunistic competitors exploit the situation for their own benefit and some media speculate on the events.

We sincerely apologise that during this time there has been a delay with processing your order, especially because we know the products we sell are so necessary and important to your pets. We were unable to take delivery of product while undergoing this process which in turn made it impossible to fulfil your order in a timely manner.

We apologise that during this time there has been a delay with processing your order. We would like to advise you that your order will be shipped or part-shipped by Monday, with any outstanding items being cancelled and refunded within the next 7 days.

As an apology for the inconvenience we have caused you we are also offering you a 20% discount on your next order by using the code, SORRY20.

Our website will be back online shortly but we first wanted to address you directly as soon as we were able to finally communicate on the situation.

Totally agree Anniebea. They offered a 15% discount code shortly before their change of 'ownership' knowing full well they would not/could not deliver on time. Each time a discount is offered in future customers will be suspicious. I feel sorry for everyone waiting for pet medicines, if they finally get delivered they will be a week later than promised.

    UDATE - 7/8/2015 21:00pm
MedicAnimal has issued a statement email updating on their situation

It goes a bit like this:-
    Sincere apologies
Company undergone a change of ownership
    Asked to cease trading temporarily
Legally bound not to communicate with customers
    Disappointing to see opportunistic competitors
Apologies as we know the products we sell are important to your pets
For your peace of mind and understanding you may have purchased elsewhere so cancelling your order
Refunding the full amount up to 7 days to reach your bank
As an apology, crediting your account with £10 voucher
Our website will be back online shortly

I know that a post stating that a email has been sent out earlier - but my email only offered £10 voucher credited direct on account and no code - from MedicAnimal

Not sure how much of the full email is corporate camouflage!
But, it shows that there might be light at the end of the tunnel!

    ---- GOOD NEWS ----

Pet Supermarket - web page - up and running
You can load Livechat, but, it states that this service is only available week days 11 - 5
However - I was able to log on to my account and they still have my order listed as received !
One point that I would make, as other's have stated that they have received an email from them, updating and offering discount - I have not received this
However - the order place within minutes of the Pet Superstore order at MedicAnimal these have sent the updating email - looks still a little hit and miss if you ask me
it's going in the right direction though!!!!

Got the email from Medicanimal saying that they are going to refund my card, so fingers crossed. Also a £10 off voucher. Not sure if I will be brave enough to use it yet! But hopefully I should get my money back?!
