These things take time.....

Had quite a productive week. Did not spend a single penny at work, took a bit of planning but not too much to be fair. I did notice that I was really hungry on Thursday as I teach from 10am - 9pm pretty much none stop so I will take in some more snacking things for my long days.
Health
I have eaten healthily (might have had a sly choc at work) and feel quite full of beans. Weighed myself this morning and have lost 3lbs which leaves only 5lbs to go to my pre Christmas weight.
We have managed to get out for a walk on 2 occasions. Yoga had to be cancelled however due to my Mam being full of cold and local flooding would make it a bit risky to drive.
Wealth
Quiet on the Survey front, only around £1.60 worth this week but better than nothing. £5 reward received from Hfax. Still waiting for switching bonuses.
I have just sent a payment this morning to CC of £301 which brings my debt to £999 so I have crashed under the £1000 mark:j This needs to be gone by middle of March which will be tight but doable.
I have received my contactless card from T$B bank so need to spend £100 using contactless method this month to gain the £5 cashback next month.
Happiness
Skyped DS1 and spoken to DS2 a few times this week. I have been feeling a bit low about OH and I as sometimes I feel invisible as he is off in his own little world, probably feeling a bit sensitive and needy after the relaxation and family time of the holidays ending. I will suggest doing some couple stuff this weekend, however he is currently still in bed after a heavy night drinking. I worry about his alcohol consumption but he point blank refuses to change.
I have been trying to not stress about work and on the whole this is working.
Budget is looking tidy. I do need to find some more revenue streams though that do not take up too much time. I have seen other's talk about free spins on bingo sites etc so need to look into that."These things take time but I know that I'm the most inept that ever stepped"0 -

Thanks CCL x I am so excited to be DF that although I do not want to wish my life away I just cannot WAIT until it's gone and I can have more choices."These things take time but I know that I'm the most inept that ever stepped"0 -
Signed up for Sw@gbucks, looks complicated and annoying but I will give it a chance. There is a £10 bonus through a link on this site if you get £5 SB by the end of the month so even if I do it for that alone to get a free £15 I will be content. It will get me at least 1 Christmas pressie
For the first time in days we have sunshine so we are heading out for a drive to the city with a lovely walk around the river and cathedral followed by 50% off meal at L@ T@asca:T
Its shaping up to be a lovely day for my health, wealth and happiness goals. Will organise a Skype to DS1 for later too.
I have had an email regarding registering to be a marker for the awarding body that I teach for but I am reluctant to commit. It will mean adhering to strict deadlines which may include working over weekends and holidays. Pay is decent though.
Roof has leaked again:mad: this time it has started dripping in our office room and we had to put a bucket down to catch the drips. OH says he will have another look at it but I am resigned to the fact that it is going to need replacing."These things take time but I know that I'm the most inept that ever stepped"0 -
Can you not sign up for the marking just to cover the roof repairs? It's a lot more tolerable when it's for a finite time. Well done on the three figures. I signed up for swag bucks last year and only drop in and out but it gave me £25 I would have had to find elsewhere so worth it.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Progress not perfection.:T100%through my 1% mortgage challenge. 100% through my pb challenge.0

Good point about the extra money. The marking isn't available until September so I have nothing to lose in registering an interest."These things take time but I know that I'm the most inept that ever stepped"0 -
£100 reward has hit my FD account. Just waiting for YB to come through now."These things take time but I know that I'm the most inept that ever stepped"0

I love doing exam marking, even though it's hard work for a few weeks and I don't get a spare second. It does give me enough cash to take on the summer holidays without too much in the way of financial worries though. Not giving up

If it was just for a few weeks a year I think I would be OK with it but this one is ongoing on demand assessments which can take place during holidays etc. I might do it anyway as an insight to the exams that students will get. Need to find out more."These things take time but I know that I'm the most inept that ever stepped"0 -
Totally gutted to hear of the death of David Bowie this morning. Such a legend who has played such a big part in my life."These things take time but I know that I'm the most inept that ever stepped"0
