These things take time.....

  • Thanks everyone :A

I really need to get my eating under control, something is making me overeat when I am totally not hungry. Its so weird, let me try and describe it.

Yesterday, I had a healthy breakfast of no flour banana pancakes an apple for a snack around 10am and made broccoli soup for lunch. OH and I went for a 4 mile walk which I totally enjoyed and I was feeling great.

Mid afternoon I 'fancied' a packet of crisps and as I was still well within my WW points I enjoyed them. I made dinner around 5pm which is quite early but not unusual on a Sunday as we usually have a light lunch. I made a lovely veggie thai red curry and rice, I felt satisfied after that.

At 8pm I went on a feeding frenzy and in the space of 2 hours I consumed:
    Another packed of crisps
A slice of toast with butter
    1 mini magnum ice cream
    A handful of grated cheese
    Half a bottle of wine:o

I actually felt like I was panic eating/drinking and went to bed feeling slightly ill and could not sleep. If anyone can shed any light on this kind of think I would appreciate it as it makes no sense to me at all:(

We had a lovely weekend and sneaked in a night away watching a band in York for a bargain price. Had 2 lovely meals out on the cheap with vouchers and had a nice and relaxing Sunday. Work is totally fine but I did have a really disappointing set of exam results with one of my groups but really, I haven't given that much thought at all.

  • Could have been worse. Wish I'd had your mini magnum instead of my half a viennetta with squirty cream.

I love viennetta, that was what I 'made' for dessert on our first date night where I cooked for OH:rotfl: It was the mint one, thought I was so classy.

  • Phew......what a week! On Ofst@d high alert and the management have gone totally mental. It's quite funny to see them running around like headless chickens:rotfl: We now have so many posters up in classrooms for various 'key focus areas' that I can no longer see any pain on the walls! Numpties!

Not letting it get to me, I have stuff to teach and in my opinion if my learners know more going out the class than they did coming in I have done my job.:D

Finally been paid :j Salary increase has worked out at an extra £162 in my pocket, which I am delighted with. OH hasnt been paid for his overtime though and after ringing up was informed that he would get it in next months salary. Not the best business for communication but at least they haven't forgotten about it.

Today I have been sorting out budget with an aim to making the penultimate payment to CC of £450. It is tight but doable as I also want to stick to my savings goal.

Loved Yoga on Tuesday which has kick started me into looking after myself a little better and practising every day even if its just 10 mins.

Looking forward to meeting up with some old work colleagues and then a skype call with DS1.

  • I really need to update more, I get so distracted with other people's diaries that I run out of time to do my own.

Budget is looking OK I am loving YNAB and have no idea what I would do without it now. I know that if I overspend in certain areas I can borrow from other pots but it makes me very reluctant to steal from the saving pot as I can see them side by side, such a good motivator.

Health wise this week I have eaten far too much rubbish plus we went a bit crazy with the entertainment budget last weekend. Between us we managed to spend £87:eek: this was on several meals out and some drinks. We love to eat out but it was excessive so we are being frugal this weekend. Had lunch out for £20.70 including drinks but that will be it for the weekend. Been to Yoga again and worked really hard this week also went wood chopping which is a workout in itself.

I have been feeling really weepy the last few days but am putting this down to hormones, quite often I seek to blame OH or what it missing in our relationship which is unfair and hurtful to him, must stop being mean for no reason.

Moneywise we have decided after more roof leakage to get both flat roofs replaced at a cost of £1600 with a 20 year guarantee. I have arranged to take some money back from mortgage overpayments as our current rate is 1.49% and I am getting 5% interest on savings at the moment in 2 x TSB accounts, Managed to grab another £100 switching bonus so that will be £350 since January :T Ditched Yorksh1re they were utter garbage.

  • I ditched Yorksh!re as well. They were fine unless I actually needed anything from them.
Sorry you're not feeling great - pigging hormones have a lot to answer for don't they? At least you recognise what the problem is. When I have days like that I go to bed early out of everyone's way.
  • Quick update, sent £333 off to S@ntander. I realised that I actually have 2 more pay dates before I start getting charged interests so I will send another £333 from my end of Feb pay and the final £333 from my end of March pay and that will be it! Debt Freedom (take 2) :D

Thanks CCL, I hope it is just hormones and not a female equivalent of a mid life crisis when I run off with a 26 year old and buy a sports car:rotfl:
