Thanks Flooky and good luck with your journey. I came across this image the other day and it really rang true with me."These things take time but I know that I'm the most inept that ever stepped"0 -
Morning diary friends:)
I have had a lovely weekend.
Friday my brother came to visit with my gorgeous 2 years old nephew and we had a good old catch up.
Saturday we went to see a fire and ice festival in our local city and had a romantic date night in a Thai restaurant (within budget).
Sunday was spent pottering around doing housework and cooking followed by a good 4 miles walk. Watched a couple of decent films including Room which was fantastic!
Money wise we had a pretty frugal weekend as most of the activities were free apart from the meal out which cost £35.50 for a 4 course meal including drinks. Less than £20 a head on a Saturday night is good in my books. Roofer is finishing off today so we have 3 totally repaired and guaranteed for 20 years roofs, we are £1600 poorer but I have put this on the mortgage for now at a low 1.49%.
Managed to do a few surveys, waiting for some things to sell on £ebay, not looking that great but if they don't sell I will Z1ffit them. Counting down to DFD which will be 31st March, not long now:j
I am feeling on top of the world at the moment and OH is really getting on board with the financial freedom thing. The weekend ahead will be a joint effort of us decorating the sun room as it is quite badly stained from the water damage. Think I have some leftover paint that might just spin out:money:
Waiting for £100 from T$B reward for OH and DS2 owes me £120 that will go straight into our savings pot."These things take time but I know that I'm the most inept that ever stepped"0 -

Its still going strong Lou, not the quickest of things but if it's in a warm room I would say it dries things in half the time of using an unheated airer. Towels and jeans take the longest to dry but most things are fine"These things take time but I know that I'm the most inept that ever stepped"0
