    Morning everyone

My iron broke and has yet to be replaced. I rarely iron anything!

Tired this morning, a lot going on. I have spent most of the week ferrying the kids about.

Frizzle hope its cleared the air, we are heading the same way I think. OH is leaving everything to me at the moment, wont help with anything and wont even discuss things that need doing. I have even wondered if he is not well but he wont talk about it. I swear that if he plans to spend all weekend laid on the sofa again I will lose it completely.

Shower and paid stuff first. I have got a meeting at work which I am not looking forward to and need to go to L@dl for some shopping at some point. Roll on the weekend!!!

Frizzle - thinking of you. Hope you can both get back to a good place today.
FFP - glad to hear new job went well - how exciting!
Dancemum - sympathies to you. Ignore the tutting. I expect their own children are perfect(ly horrid)...

The Ironing Saga is making me laugh out loud. You ladies are so funny :rotfl:

Well, gonna be a long day for me. DH is collecting skids on the train today (leaving work early) after my hellish journey with two small people last time, then my epic hissy-fit about his exE, so they won't get home until midnight and I'll be home alone until then. Currently enjoying the calm before the storm with a cuppa in bed. Already been up to feed dogs and check on the boy pup. There was a punch-up over food yesterday and Luther tried to defend his bowl against my adult dog Griffon. Needless to say, Luther got bitten on the nose. :( Blood everywhere but actually just a small wound. Spent ages cleaning it and putting disinfectant on the bite and it looks OK this morning. Big boy had his breakfast in the laundry room on his own this morning and stayed there until the puppies were finished

Morning flyladies. Been MIA for a couple of days but lurking occasionally. Flying wise did finances yesterday.

Narco - impressed with your list
Natty -no probs as I'll be joining the ironing gang this morning. I only iron outer garments which are REALLY creased. Oh and napkins so they look nice on the table.

I've had a rough night. Firstly I am full of cold at the moment (minor I know in the scheme of things), but DH got drunk again and I found myself in the middle of the night cleaning up glass and red wine, and then slept in the LR to keep OldDog calm after she got upset by my shouting. He's bl****dy oblivious.

I'm trying to get things back to normal this morning as I can't stand an atmosphere but no reply to my text yet.

Anyhow, better get on. Last day of the paid stuff before a week off (on my own, yay!).

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Morning everyone - slopes in to admit that I too iron teatowels- but only because I love them so much now I have found the right ones!! (JL often on offer for 2 for a £5 - wash and t dry beautifully and the stains come out easily too and they are phenomenal pots dryers!) - just in case you wondered!

    CY - thinking of you
FFP - glad your new job went well
Frizzle and Dancemum and Jazee - thinking of you too.

Have a great day everyone - I am out most of the day for my present for big birthday so wish me luck!!

    Morning all
Hugs and good wishes to all who need them
Healing coping and just plan "getting through it" vibes for those who need those.

Bossy its years since mine Did dance but we have a small independent shoe shoe that has a vast range of dance stuff, shoes tights ribbons etc. and in town (Leicester) there is a big dance wear shop that has shoes and every other item the dancers heart could desire. If you google tap/ballet/dance shoes in your area you should get something come up. It's worth trying some on to check for fit etc even if you then buy over the net. also there's not a week goes by I don't see dance stuff at the carboot that barely looks worn.
I'm sure dancemum will have more uptodate advice for you.

Currently being force fed frank turner as my lads seem obsessed by him, I think I'll turn into a fan by default just because of how often I'm hearing him. Much offer this to when the girls were young and I was force fed spice girls LOL

    Hello Everyone
Where are Friday's tasks?I'm not sure that I like this new system.
Just waiting for a lady to come who alters clothes. I thought I do a bit of flying whilst waiting but I can't find the list.

Busy granny natty posted last night that she would have the list up today by 10am as she'd had a really busy day yesterday

Looking at the lists everywhere has been covered so I'm guessing today's will be kids/spare rooms or a general catch up for the weekend. The lists aren't cast in stone so you are free to do what ever you feel needs doing or catch up on the lists so far while you are waiting, I'm sure it won't be long.

(((Big hugs))), spoons and sticks to Natty - it looks like there is a lot of draining "stuff" going on in your life atm.
More (((hugs))) to CY, Jazee and Frizzle.
Yay! to LW re: dogs :D

It hasn't rained all night, so my washing is dry :) and the tea towel has been joined in the ironing pile by a pair of linen trousers :(

    Files revised and emailed
    Lunch prepared
    WU done
DH back in bed with a humongous headache, so I have to go on the railway with our friends on my own :( They're nice people but the wife talks 20 to the dozen and doesn't listen. Her husband is the strong silent type ;)

Catch up later. Hope everyone has the best possible day x
