evening all
just popping in before I go food shopping
not got much done round the house yet today but some time spent soothing OH's grief (his mum died 2 weeks ago) we went out to lunch and spent the day chilling together
Right off to Ald* then back to load WM...lots to do!Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -

Yes it's reported, i also posted on a local FB page and I've just had a message from someone saying they think they've found it abandoned!
I don't know if I should go collect it, they've not told me exactly where they are, but must only be round the corner as the crossroads they said it was found on is nearby. But I feel nervous about it
We've spent today fitting a better lock on the gate and even fitted a shed alarm, so assuming anyone gets past two big locks they'll get their ears frazzled if they go in my kiddies playhouse again!
Bossy- that's terrible! To think of someone in your garden is just awful.
I know, I feel a bit edgy now. Inlaws have been here helping me get sorted and, well, just being here, which helped enormously. But it's just me and the littlies now - and they are going to bed soon.
Really hoping it was just kids and they got bored with it.Bossymoo

Bossy, sorry to hear of the break in, what ever YOU are NOT to go and see / fetch the other bike back unless you take an adult with you, just a shame I am not nearer for safety, glad to hear you have lock fitted.
Work done ,a lovely 32 days as my boss is away, and so in my job share......who can be a right pain at times.

Thanks kazw wasn't sure if I was being silly. I haven't heard back from the chap but I'm getting the kids to bed anyway so won't be able to go tonight.
Might ask nice NDN to come with me in the morning.
Tried calling police back to advice them it may have been found, but the lines are queueing...Bossymoo

shopping purchased, quiet in there -beer festival on the race course (not quiet and quite near our house)
shopping put away
DD collected from work and driven home and her clean washing dropped off
walked round the block with OH (we both have new jawbone trackers which are quite motivating)
WMx1 so hopefully I can peg it out in the morning as OH is down to his last but 1 t-shirt!!
lots more loads needed to be done but can't put another one on over night as the machine beeps loudly when done. I won't hear it but OH will and it will keep him awake!!
Right, stoking headache so off to bedGo hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -
CY glad you're feeling a bit more perky.
hugs to all those currently out of kilter with their DH/OH.
Today as expected, I veered from last night's list
- Did Body Attack
- Did a bit of report (but not enough)
- Remembered to post a couple of things.
- Got rid of a couple of flagged tasks from Outlook.
- Went to Mata1lan sale; pleased as I got £75 worth of stuff for £27.50, and as I had vouchers from doing surveys, I only paid 50p!!! Now the task is to make sure I declutter the same number of items I've bought. Shouldn't be too bad, already chucked some ancient sports socks as they are now replaced; 1 top was as near as I could get to one I retired last year as it was so useful (white lacy cardigan style loose top - great over anything strappy/summery and reduced to £2). Oh didn't mean bondage strappy :rotfl:
- froze, properly labelled, 3 bags of whitecurrants.
- picked a huge beetroot and some runner beans, found what turned out to be a nice recipe (stir-fry chopped beetroot in a teaspoonful of marg then leave on low heat to sweat; boil beans but not too much. Stir into beetroot. At the last minute stir in crumbly cheese like Caerphilly then serve before it's melted. Yummy.)
- did a lot of weeding and pruning
- gathered up all my assessment materials from scattered round the dining room, brought upstairs in their box.
- did a load of washing
That's about it. Thought it was mobile library today, got there on time but no sign so either I'm a week out or they cancelledRemember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -

not got much done round the house yet today but some time spent soothing OH's grief (his mum died 2 weeks ago) we went out to lunch and spent the day chilling together
Had a lovely afternoon shopping and bought some cotton undies for my holidays amongst other things.
I find it's getting easier to fly each week now, being as most of the worst things are sorted and I am (mostly) keeping on top of things.
Must say it's all down to you lovely people and the encouragement on this thread, so thanks a million to all of you :T
Not much left this week now.
Need to do some ironing for the holidays
Paperwork hotspot getting out of control -WIP
RoD needs finishing
((hugs)), sticks and spoons for anyone needing some
Hope you all have a super Saturday
