Just popping in to say hello.

Second long chemo session over and done. Felt dreadful last night, but suspect it was mainly tiredness. Given I have had no energy since I started yesterday's 10 hour stint in hospital was very tough.

However today I feel better and am pleased to report I am waving from the sofa, fully dressed.

I went to hospital as instructed yesterday, wearing gloves, moving my hands and with a hot water bottle. I got a number of very strange looks, but hey it worked.

DH working from home today. DD2 on her way to Spain with her OH. I hope they have a fantastic time.

Haven't managed to read back, hope everyone is having a good time. Love hugs and spoons to all who need.
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j

Pleased to hear you're feeling better Cycling; good to hear from you! Appreciate the sofa support, too!

I have ironed kids shirts/trousers (necessary as the Vallikids need clean, dry, ironed uniform for their customer-facing roles) and ironed everything else. Two loads on line - towels is one, so that won't generate much ironing.

Kitchen still a tip though. Had to prioritise with ironing 1st then get DS to work.

    ETA

pots all washed inc. cats pots (I do them in the sink after washing everything else) or in DW (as appropriate) and have cleaned cat litter tray (phooo) and that's outside drying. kitchen tidy. Now to go in with hot water and detergent and a cloth...

Glad you are feeling ok now CY.

Just had to nip round mils she was hyperventilating down the phone at me cos her utilities bill had gone up from £30 a month to £149!!!! Apparently her meters not been read for ages so her monthly amount was very wrong and instead of being in credit she's in debt. Have rung and had it explained to me so I've calmed her down and explained why the hike.
    And breathe....

Thanks dancemum hope things have calmed down :( xxx

Glad you're beating up ok CY xxx

Ugh. Woke up this morning to see the playhouse door was wide open. That's odd, pretty sure it was properly shut. Poked head to side of house and gate was swinging open too. Heart sank.

So the playhouse was broken in to and DS bike is stolen :( bless him. for some reason they left DDs and the other toys. So we are in the process of upping the ante on our security plus I've taken him for a new bike - he needed a bigger one. Not the point at all, but we had planned to get another. Found a good deal. Bit cross that someone's been on our property uninvited and a bit cross I got complacent and didn't bring them right into then house. But lesson learned.

Anyway, must go put kettle on, inlaws are here...

Aww bossy I'm so sorry that some scummy git did that, have you reported it? Even if you don't go via insurance it make the police aware that some scudisy low life is in the area. Can you get a decent padlock today for the gate in case they've noted what else is there.

CY- glad to hear from you.

Bossy- that's terrible! To think of someone in your garden is just awful.

I have been working off list today as kiddies bedrooms are ok.

I have been swimming with kids, bought paint, washed the swimming towels aNd given ds2s room one coat of paint. Grrr- it needs another! I wanted to do it tonight but might have to have until tomorrow. Going to pick up kids shortly.

  • Hi all x

Been a busy girl since I got up and I've still achieved very little. Quick S/S of LR and Scullery done. Bathroom scrubbed and fresh mats put down, 2x WM, TD on too its beautiful outside but next door have a fire going , upstairs rooms hoovered, ditto the stairs and landing. Just making a chilli for dinner before I head out to work.

CY hope you are having a good day xxx

Love, hugs and spoons to all who need them x

Already been up to feed dogs and check on the boy pup. There was a punch-up over food yesterday and Luther tried to defend his bowl against my adult dog Griffon. Needless to say, Luther got bitten on the nose. :( Blood everywhere but actually just a small wound. Spent ages cleaning it and putting disinfectant on the bite and it looks OK this morning. Big boy had his breakfast in the laundry room on his own this morning and stayed there until the puppies were finished
Nose-healing vibes for Luther. I have several "pairs" of dogs who visit me who are fed apart, including the current two, because Bailey is a slow eater, and Cassie will wolf her food and try for his given the chance. Probably best to keep them apart at mealtimes, hey?

Consider getting into your day clothes your daily target while you're doing the chemo.;) I do think you feel better in yourself if you can get into proper clothes at least. I know I do.:o Not that I could lounge around in jammies anyway, cos I don't own any!:D

Cassie's moulting. Big time. I suspect the Dys0n will be doing overtime while they're here.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
