Managed to square up the LR and Scullery before I left and make dinner. I'm hoping to do the same tonight.

Fellow member of the Slatterns Club here - if it isn't on public view when in use, it doesn't get ironed!:DNarc0lepsy wrote: »sorry I hold that title. Ditto about tea towels....and ordinary towels, bedding, underwear......
I have decluttered my Tax Return. *self-righteous smirk*If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
 You mean some of you don't iron tea towels?
Ironing is my secret OCD. *whispers* I even iron socks, pants, flannel and mattress protectors :embarasse BUT only when no-one is looking. Urgh, the thought of wrinkled linen touching my teacups *shudder*
Just had a monumental nap with Tiny. Small was watching TV curled up next to us. Good job I was a busy bee this morning! Chimneys all swept by the lovely sweep who uncovered what the previous owners had boarded over. It's a truly magnificent, HUGE chimney, two storeys high and crying out for restoration :j0 -
Well I'm in Dizzy's Gang
Anyhoo am half way round the boudoir but have had a break as DD took me to lunch (feel treated) and then been to have haircut. No longer resemble Dougal (see Magic Roundabout - although Dylan might be closer to what it was).Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson
