Hi all!
Welcome back embb x
Yikes dizzy glad no harm was done x
Kids went off to school club today, so they will be having a good time, although I had to go open blinds in both their rooms to wake themhow much to bet tomorrow they are up with the larks just because we don't have to be anywhere???
WFH today. And cracking on with plenty, so just having a tea break. Club is open longer than school, so I can take a substantial lunch break and pop to Mr A for some groceries. So I'm trying to jot down what we can eat in the next few days.
Also want to get the vac out and finish the LR floor. Kiddies swept the rug for me but I want to get the dust bunnies from the corners and behind the sofas.
My bedroom tidy :T but could do with Hoover up there too - hasn't been upstairs since it swallowed what I thought was a mouse haha.
Which reminds me - agreed to look after someone's hamster while they are on hol - we are most definitely not keeping it though....Bossymoo

Thanks to Bossy and Natty for the thread x
Here at the theme park things have been a bit hectic. Long story short I met an old work colleague on Friday and I start a new job tonight. Handed my notice in at work yesterday so I'm excited but a bit worried as to whether I'm doing the right thing.
Going to make a start on the living room and scullery.I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
Hope the new job goes well FFP and time proves it was the right decision for you.
Garden weeded and 1 lb of blackberries picked
Have recycled some mags, shredded some paperwork, put the clothes away and hung the wash throw out, nipping shops now to get something for dinner.SPC~12 ot 124

debt free as of feb 2015. Now saving for deposit for new house! Moving in June 2015!!!0 -
Phew! Paid stuff done.
Just finished up in the LR - vac between the sofa cushions YUCK! Lol. Am having a peaceful brew in conservatory before I go collect littlies. It's snack time at club so I wouldn't want to interrupt
Managed a very quick shop at lunch so better go stick the meatballs on for tea...
Also sent mum some £££s for holiday spends so she can get all our euros together - saves us both waiting in for delivery. Must book airport parking too.
Plan is to deal with DR table tonight - is still covered in papers / drawings / homework from the school year. If I sort tonight they can start sticking in the scrapbooks tomorrow.
Also have an appointment at bank tomorrow to change kids CTFs into JISAs which hopefully will perform a bit better. I'm taking the kids with me in the hope that they won't try much sales tactics on me as they'll be in a rush to get us out of there :rotfl:
Hope the new jobs a success FFP xBossymoo

All mending is now done, throws washed and almost dry, DS2 wants to pack so as he's 15 and perfectly capable of dressing himself I reminded him he needed trunks, something smart, and petty much what he wears at home enough to to last a week. He's come down, moaning there's not enough room in his case and that the trunks he boug last year don't fit but the ones from 4 years ago are fine. I said have you put enough socks and pants in, oops no he'd totally forgotten he needed any of those. How can you gorges your pants for goodness stakes??? Lord help me I suppose I'd better check what is in there!SPC~12 ot 124

Yikes, Dizzy. Very frightening; well done on capturing all the puppies with no harm done. Speedy fencing vibes heading your way.mrs-moneypenny wrote: »Finished off a box of chocolates from Christmas so that can go in the recycling.
Very worthy of you. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I just went up to the attic to get some loo rolls, and came down with them plus seven boxes for recycling, CS and the tip. It's a start.Better is good enough.0 -
Having posted my Toots/Frog list yesterday, I actually did an item on it!:D
Installed Morrowind on the laptop - only to find it wouldn't work.:( There's some sort of compatibility issue. Bummer!
So it's now installed on the pc, instead.;)
Means I'll have to sit up at the pc to play it, which is a pain, but at least I can play it now.:rotfl:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
