Woke about half seven, flung on clothes over nightwear for the sake of decency and pegged out waking as DD's work shirt is in there and she is working again today on a split shift.
Back in bed slurping coffee.
Sorted books for CS as I won't take to car boot as not worth the effort. Also listed one item on ebay - first time in over a year!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning all - hi embb
Pleased you had a good evening out, msgnomey. No alcohol = more food for the same number of calories
Hope you have a less stressful day today, DizzyImp.
Well, I slept for a couple of hours yesterday afternoon and didn't really feel a lot better for it, but after tea I managed to plant out the rest of the new plants in the back garden and watered everything that needed it. Hopefully there will be a drop of rain this evening for everything else
I have just checked through and reorganised my to-do list (including Frogs and Toots) and reduced everything to one sheet of A4 - just need to colour code by subject it now (thanks to LW for the idea). I have resolved not to let it get any longer, and to clear as much as possible from the list in what is left of this month. I need to be much better organised from September as I am starting a study course and need to plan in a bit of "me" time each day as well as time for reading and written assignments each week. As I am at my best in the mornings, it will have to be done then! Fortunately my NT vol job hours reduce from October and the property is shut completely from Nov to Feb inclusive, whilst DH's railway keeps going except for Jan and Feb.
Talking of railways, we are having a day out today on the Glos and Warwickshire (busman's holiday for DH :rotfl:) so I'd best get ready quick.
Hope everyone has a good day. (((Hugs))), spoons and sticks where needed. See you later x0 -
Well bargainhunterss and msgnomey - I will post mine if you post yours! Might galvanise us into action!
I'm on it Valli! Will rope in OH for ideas too :jEvery act of kindness, no matter how small, isn’t wasted ❤️

Vacuum LR, hall and stairs (and mop )
15 mins sort of junk on landing
Wash dog blankets[/STRIKE]
Busy day today so not sure how much I'll achieve. Got dd1's friend again from eleven until five, and because they always leave out dd2 I have felt the need to also invite dd2's friend for the afternoon. So two 7 year olds and two 5 year olds, not conducive to flying. Also have swimming lessons at teatime, then off to mums as she is looking after them tomorrow .
Had a major wobble last night about the state of the house. We have been living in an unfinished project for so long I have lost sight of how bad it is. It suddenly dawned on me how much work there is yet to do, and I just want to sell it and get a house like a normal family.
But we can't as no one would buy it like this. Anyway, moan over. I've just got to try and find an extra hour or two in my day to try to help OH when I can.
CY hope you feel a bit better today x

Good Morning Everyone :j
Hope today is a good one for everyone. It sounds like we are all busy and dealing with life as it occurs.
It is no different here! DH got up this morning and spent the first 15 minutes chasing the rabbits round the garden as I hadn't shut the hutch properly (again!!). Our little black one is a bu**er and very quick! So it was game on. They are now safely back in their hutch having a rest (normally let them out in the daytime in a secure area) but they can come out later.
Have some Home Work to do this afternoon but off to see some friends this morning for a cuppa.
