Hi Wildsavings! You write your own Toots list - it's whatever you want it to be, short and simple or longer terms to include redecorating. I've never got round to actually needing one because my list of urgent things that need doing is so long I have no idea how I'll ever get through it. Just having a stab at the daily lists seems to work for most people.

Bossy, you're fab. Just as you are. We can all think of things we think we should be doing; what you're doing is perfect as it is. (((Hugs)))

CY, so glad to see you posting again. So sorry it's been a carp few days. (((Hugs))) and healing vibes for you.

I know she's been seen elsewhere so I'm not worried per se, but I do miss Pigpen's acerbic posts.

I'm not doing anything like as much as I thought I would now that the weather's a good bit more cheerful. I just don't seem to have any energy which is mega-frustrating, but I did turn out the dogcarp cupboard yesterday and now have a pile of stuff that can leave the house. Rather satisfying.
    Better is good enough.

This morning I woke up early - had a coffee, caught up with the thread (still in bed) and fell back to sleep - re-surfaced around 9:15 *blush*. Have ironed the laundry, pegged out a small load (red stuff) and emptied the DW.

Am currently pondering whether to weed on the front (the sun, when it's full-on, usually prevents me from doing that as I hate working in full sun, being a ginger with ginger problems) or to make a start on the varnishing, or to clean the living room etc as per today's list.

There is nothing in the house that needs ironing!! I think 2 more loads will empty the laundry basket and I've even been through the odd sock bundle and paired all possible ones, once everything is through the laundry odd socks will be binned!
Just used up the dregs of a tub of body butter so that's going in recycling, jacket pots are in the oven for dinner and the two sleepover friends have gone home. Had a quick weed in the back garden while I was hanging last load of washing out so I think it's time for another coffee.

Bossy absolutely nobody I have ever met has been perfect. You do very well so hugs.
    Welcome Wildesavings
ionafan so that's where my fairies, have gone; haven't seen them in the garden for ages. Tried desperately to see the bearded tits at Minsmere yesterday, but they were hiding.

Just had a sad email from my SIL, she had to have her elderly horse put to sleep yesterday. Always a sad time; at the weekend someone was chatting to me about my old boy and I was tearful - even after he's been gone 4 yrs.

One load washing on line, the other in the machine (including bathroom mats).
    Zumba done.
Bag unpacked and contents put away from the weekend.
    Some flowers deadheaded.
    Card written to SIL.
About to water plants in greenhouse, conservatory and patio; then lunch and gather myself together for car service, i.e. collect paperwork and laptop so I can work using their wi fi and coffee (and no distractions other than possibly reading their newspaper); also get bags ready to go to supermarket on the way home.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

Snap - all this morning's has been brought in and ironed. I've also washed the red fleece blanket which belongs to work.

Well DS has come up trumps! He has been in the attic for me and brought down the decorating box. He has put the robot back up there. He has also helped weed the front garden. I am fighting a losing battle with couch grass. He's had a go at the border, I have de-pooped the lawn and then raked it to remove dead moss. The poop is courtesy of our younger cat. I have had to be on hand to point out difference between weeds and plants. The weeds would be the lush, healthy ones;)
need to pick DD up at 3, she's on a split shift, then they are both due at work at 6 so that will be a 2 birds errand!
