    Hiya everyone :hello:

CY - how's it going. Hope you feeling okay today
Bossy - sorry you feeling a bit stretched. Hope the week improves for you. It must be hard working when you have kiddies as well.

I've made a huge slow-cooker potful of chilli today, which I've just turned off and will finish and sort in the morning.

Reorganised the space in freezer one and added all the HM meals into there to free some space in freezer two, as hope to defrost that the morrow before freezing all the chilli :rotfl:

Cleared up and tidied the balcony and balcony boxes, swept the walls and all the matting. Dead-headed and watered all the plantings.

Cleaned the bathroom as well today as trying to get ahead a little to get a day out. I need to go shopping for a few bits and pieces, some new undies and some things for my hols in September.

Morning all. Managed to get jobs done off the list yesterday and also got the washing all done and dry as it was such a windy day.

Bossy - chin up, you're doing a brilliant job. I've always felt that I'm swimming against the tide because there is so much to do, but I haven't been found out at work yet that I'm actually rubbish at it, and my kids (now adults) seem to like me despite plonking them in front of the telly sometimes when they were younger.

Going off list this morning to give the downstairs cloakroom as good clean.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning ladies
Sitting in bed with a cuppa - already been up and fed dogs and made packed lunch for DH. I'm so tired today - not sleeping well (no change there) but the summer holidays are taking their toll. Bossy, you have my sympathies - hope today is better for you.

Living room, hall and stairs today is it? Hmmmm....OK, I'll do my best. Got two sets of stairs at either end of the house, plus another flight into the attic room (bit spidery up there  )

My list of things to do today has reached the end of the A4 page, so DH reminds me I haven't spoken to the Conservation Officer yet...No dear, I say...
  • Morning everyone - thanks for the lists Bossy and Natty. I couldn't get on here as had lost the top of the page and couldn't move forward - bit like life atm!!!

Bossy - hugs - hope you feel less down soon - please don't be too hard on yourself.

    CY thinking of you.

Ionafan - severe case of bird envy here - I love long tailed tits.

SW this am and think I'll have put on too - DH was no help last week when he was off we ate out a few times!!

Then I must get on. Am up to date with washing and have only HHI to complete. Have hoovered through yesterday and now need to do more papers and dust.

Sticks spoons and hugs where needed.

    Morning all

Bossy biggest squishes hugs; you are doing fab. I'm not great at my new job but hey I'm friendly and easy to be around there and great at looking keen. DS3 not keen on being left at home on work days and moans like anything about it but I took him to cricket all weekend and yesterday and watched all of 3 6-7 hour games so he's had 'time'. Be kind to yourself you can only do your best on each day and it adds nothing to beat yourself up. Summer is a strange time when we are all supposed to be having such a wonderful time and I never find it that way. At the end of every school holiday since time began I have always beat myself up that we should have been to more places, done more reading, more craft stuff - more everything but do you know what, my older boys don't remember most days anyhow, the boring ones or the days out! I think you're fab.

And to the flying, DS2 hoovered and mopped downstairs yesterday. The wm has just finished so I'll put that on the line and finish cleaning the bathroom (started yesterday) and then paid stuff for me - oh and to ring JL to find out what is happening with my carpet.

    Good Morning All

I really should read through the thread before posting - Bossy I just wanted you to know that you are not alone in your feelings, we all have days like that - big hugs to you.

Very pleased it is living room today, even though I am in the middle of decorating as DD has all her toys over the floor and needs to tidy them up. I bought a Henry recently so will be putting him through his paces on the stairs today.

It was lovely to wake up to a lovely tidy clean kitchen this morning and it has set me up for the day. Out swimming this afternoon so just this morning to get things done.

Spoons and Sticks - take your pick
